Needs to support video
some unique name
Inconsistency across platforms is a major weakness. The iOS app does not support video. When all of the competing platforms support video, (Camera access) so this sticks out like a sore thumb. If your competition can program to address the camera, you can too.

Terrible experience with the mobile app. I really enjoy slack on the desktop but I’ve experienced major headaches with the mobile app. It can only load the most recent 10 messages and if you try to load any before that, it skips back multiple days. I’m extremely disappointed with this mobile app and am surprised a company like slack has not made improvements on this front. If you’re on your mobile a lot, gchat seems to provide the better experience.
Issues with slack app

05/11/2020 Do not see any changes you described in update to 20.05.10. Not on iPad not on iPhone. All design looks exactly the same as before the update. Both devices running latest iOS. 02/15/2020 On iPad and iPhone, workspace keep showing white dot in the upper right corner of the workspace logo/icon indicating that there is unread messages, but there is none. “You’re up to date” your app informs me on each channel. “No new replies” each thread displays. Did reset app’s cache, did reboot both devices. Did delete and reinstall your app. The dot is still there. Please fix.

App stops working. Update. All channels disappear. Keeps happening. Delete. Restart. Update. Do you test this stuff before pushing it out? Teams migration underway thank the lord!
Nothing is Loading

Just updated the app and nothing is loading. It was working earlier today but now none of my direct messages are loading. It says I need a more secure connection but all my other apps are working well with WIFI.
You screwed up

Whatever your grandiose upgrade was it totally screwed over my app on iPhone. Had to delete and reinstall and now it won’t even allow me in because it can’t find teams. Really really disappointed.

I’m having syncing issues with some of my channels where it’s not updated in real time. Super annoying

Slack has always been good in mobile. In dark mode, especially on the OLED screens, it’s gorgeous and a true pleasure to use.
