It works

Richard V.

Very subtle and concrete improvements all the time making the service more seamless and use friendly.

Doesn't work on iOS 9.3

Taino Prime

App says it supports iOS 9.3 or higher, but fails to install on iOS 9.3 device. Works fairly well on iOS 11.x, but has a long time login/calendar sync. Please fix.

Used to work

briamber

Now all I get is this pop up (ALL THE TIME) saying can’t connect to server. Whatever update came thru put it back.

When it works it is great

M!M123456

With the new apple IOS my data calls only connect for exactly 10minutes then drop. For every call. In addition, I can’t see missed messages. I only see the first part and then it doesn’t display the whole message.

Black screen

Posrec0072005

The app has recently begun showing a black screen when viewed. I have no access to the app. This is connected to my work computer and my only way to communicate when away from my work laptop. C’mon Skype. I know you have better developers than this.

Crashes every time

RAGHURP

App crashes when searching for contacts or making calls or just by doing anything ?

Crashes frequently now

jsmaze

Still crashing all the time. iOS 11.4 and app 6.20.2.2 Seems that it started crashing with some OS update a few months ago. Unfortunately, if it won’t stay open in the background so I can receive notifications, it’s basically an outgoing only communication tool. Hope it gets fixed soon, I heavily rely on IM for work.

Notification does’t work

3rock11

If someone sends me an message, there is no notification . I will get a missed conversation in email, but it will be about 7 mins later.

Too many crashes

PorterGuy

The app is not stable. It crashes when you initiate IM. It disconnects when you ask it to dial out (the only stable way to get audio) you can’t tell who is talking in meetings (Webex had this meeting feature from the beginning)

Volume on iOS is tied to Apple Music

isarmstrong

It’s the strangest glitch ever. Unless I run Skype over my phone earpiece I have no volume control. In the device selector, my volume slider is tied to Apple Music. I literally have access to one volume. I could solve this by having Skype call my phone instead of using in-app audio but the server fails every time.
