It is far easier to get on demand episodes and navigate through shows. It also has not crashed the way the previous App seemed to be prone to doing. I love the progress they are making! Attaching Twitter pics is also extremely nice. I used to listen to Howard and then toggle between apps to see the show pics of whatever guest they had on that day and now the app is more of a one stop shop. Great progress!

Updated app barely works

I used to be able to use this App constantly. Now it only works for a few minutes and then claims I have a slow connection, regardless of my internet strength. Really annoying.

Overall satisfied. At times there are glitches I don't understand, and with most recent update of my iPhone 6 Plus to the new iOS 10, the app goes on the fritz every now and then. However, I love Howard Stern, and it's really the only reason that pay for this service.

I listen to the app exclusively when I'm in my garage tinkering or just chilling! Love that I don't have to hear 5 mins of commercials every 10 mins!!! Alt Nation is my most listened to but I also like classic vinyl, first Wave & Lithium!

Since the last update the app is crashing all the time and searching for connection. I love listening in my truck and purchased this so I could listen to it everywhere else. Please fix the issue and make this app more reliable and then I'll change my rating. Until then I recommend nobody purchase this app

Lack of Customization

I like the ability to listen to the Stern show. I have no ability to access wifi at work and I can’t pick up the satellite feed due to me not having a view of the sky to the west. I hate the fact that it uses so much bandwidth for a talk show. Users should have the ability to request a lower bandwidth setting. The stern show should be very tolerable with a 56K or even a 32K setting. Also the inactivity timeout should be customizable. I see others have stated a similar dissatisfaction with the app. It appears that the engineers do not care about customer satisfaction. I can’t even recommend the app to friends because I do not want them mad at me for causing data usage to go up.
