Worried that you have a bad voice? Always told you're out of tune or off-key when you sing?

Many people think they can't sing because they don't have "natural talent" or weren't born "musically gifted". The surprising truth is that anybody can learn to sing well, even those who feel totally unmusical.

SingTrue helps you discover your inner musicality and gain control over your voice to become a natural, confident, powerful singer.

HOW SINGTRUE WORKS

SingTrue features over 30 interactive exercises that help you learn to sing easily, confidently and in perfect tune. By using the iPhone microphone and sophisticated signal processing, the app analyses your singing and provides personal feedback on how you can improve.

Spend a few minutes practicing with the app's exercises every day and you will rapidly become a capable, confident singer.

If you are already a musician, the app will train your voice and your ears to help you become more confident, more creative, and more musical. In fact, the advanced exercises will help you recognise notes by ear - enabling you to play by ear, write your own music, and improvise freely on your instrument.

The exercises have been designed by experts, in consultation with some of the leading vocal teachers in the world. Building on the success of the RelativePitch ear training app (featured by Apple and used by over 300,000 musicians) and the Tone Deaf Test (4.5-star rated app used by 170,000+ people), SingTrue has been developed to help more people discover their inner voice and naturally become sensational musicians.

Ok app, no updates
Bytrgjoe

This is a nice app for practicing your singing, but they promise updates when you buy it and never deliver them. This is a perfect example of “soon” never arriving. I have had the app for over a year and new lessons have never been added. There are much better applications out there for about the same price, and they are actually updated. I would skip this one and look further.

bad app
JakeH006141

this is app is not helpful at all, not to mention if you mess up on something multiple times and lose all your lives you can't practice any more until later. a real singing app wouldn't have dumb "lives" like that, it's not a video game. 1 star.

FORCES You to PAY $ and ADVERTISE for them. PLEASE READ.
Shayyyynnaaaasaa

WHAT DID I JUST PAY FOR!? They present this a training tool but it’s formatted like a game. They give you ten lives. I understand in app purchases for additional content. But to not be able to use this app for more than ten minutes at a time without paying is RIDICULOUS. Especially when you lose a life for not meeting the goal of the challenge and 99% of people that would download are not trained singers... I much rather they charge three bucks and just make it a great easy app. It’s also weird that some “singing challenges” are to share your results. It’s fine to make it an option, but IN WHAT WORLD SHOULD I PAY AN APP TO ADVERTISE THEM. Won’t be using it further. I don’t recommend. Could have been helpful if it wasn’t so shadyyy!

Too easy to lose lives
Nehcterg16

Great idea but counted breath in as a pitch and lost lives immediately. Said to “aim for” 80% on target but still lost a life with 93% on target.

Love it!

I use this for some of my private students. It's very helpful!

It’s a paid educational app that works on a freemium model
Nowhere over the rainbow

Not only do a lot of the lessons come as separate paid bundles you have to pay for (something I’d consider, depending on how thrilled I ended up with the first few lessons) but if you fail a lesson a few times you have to pay them or wait to keep trying. That may actually be the most annoying possible implementation of the freemium model I have ever encountered, and I really and sincerely hate all freemium implementations already. Not recommended unless you enjoy being annoyed to pay more when you’re trying to learn something.

No updates in a year!
MonkTheDog

I think the app is helpful and has made a decent start My ears have improved. However, I’m stuck at a certain level, and can’t seem to “graduate”, no matter how well I do. We see messages like “more modules coming soon”, but that has not happened in quite some time, about a year according to the version history. Sadly, it seems that the developers have ceased developing this product. I wouldn’t recommend buying the app for that reason alone. Would happily change my mind if improvements were forthcoming...

Not enough lives
Kaled99

As a beginner I run out of lives very quickly. I then only get 1 life back after waiting 2 days. All I want to do is practice singing. This method of monitising the app is very de-motivating. I will look for a better app.

Great for self learning!!!
Qfigenes

I've been using this app for the last month or so, building pitch skills. Being an adult piano student, i have so much to learn in a timely and easy fashion. This app is fun and what's more worthy, it helps me so much with the rather scarce time I'm able to practice!

I love it but stuck
Holdson

I love the app and it’s helping a lot but I can’t get passed the level I’m on no matter how well I do
