Too many issues with app

I have used the app in 2017 to make a 20-30 page photo book and I thought I’d use it again to make a larger book of our most recent trip. This time I had 1000+ pictures to sort through and the app just wasn’t up to it. Some of the issues were just inconveniences as the iPad app not allowing landscape view except when previewing the book, to bigger issues like app constantly crashing and rearranging my photos on the shelf bar on top when I reopen the app, having no way to multi select pics on the shelf bar to get rid of them when you reach the max, making me drag each one to the trash can. Sometimes the pics just come back when you restart the app making it reach the limit again or sometimes even after dragging and deleting 100’s of pictures and getting rid of pages from the book itself, it still tells me I’ve reached my 500 limit. I don’t know if it’s storing them in memory but randomly it’ll allow me to add more time to time until the proble, starts all over again. After days of fighting with the app and reaching a bit over 200 pages, I’m throwing in the towel.

Mailing and Photo issues

If you order more than one book, you cannot mail one to another address. They all go to the same address. Also , when photos are imported, areas of the photo are cut off and there is no way to crop the photo on the app so it fits properly. Even if you crop the original photo and then import it, it is not shown as cropped in the original.

I can’t stop creating family photo books. I’ve created four so far and will create more soon. It’s simple, which is nice, however, I wish the templates were adjustable, maybe even customizable. Thank you simple prints for helping us preserve our family photos and memories.

App Crashing, Riddled with Glitches

Would be good, except the app crashes constantly, randomly removes photos, “failed to refresh” messages on photos. I probably will have to look elsewhere because when I try to build an album I can’t get through without having the app crash, not save anything, and have to backtrack and re-do what I have already done.

I usually would use the Walgreens app to make my yearly books (or prints for that matter! Now that I’ve found this app, it is SO much fun. Easy to organize and not confusing at all! I also appreciate it not being a “monthly subscription payment” as most apps I’ve found are. Thank you!!
