Like hundreds of other “transfer” apps, it gives you a web address to go to to transfer files. Apple iOS provides (by default) Air Drop to transfer files and photos from iPad/iPhone to MacBook. Dropbox and iCloud (by default) keep photos and files synced across devices. And, you can copy/paste (again, by default and free) from iPad/iPhone to MacBook and vice versa. Sure hope I didn’t pay for this scam!
