Simple Transfer does not transfer your files to any external server. It provides a completely private website to be accessed by only computers that are directly connected to your local WiFi network. Your photos and videos cannot be accessed from the Internet.

I just purchased the paid version of the app and have been trying to download pictures and videos from my phone and the app keeps crashing and goes back to the home screen. I would like a refund.

This app does not work as advertised. It is not simple or easy. There are multiple steps to go through before transferring photos. Then the photos are transferred into a zip file. Which then has to be opened. If I had known this from reading about the app I would not have bought it. The developer refuses to return my money.I hope this review will help prevent other people from falling for what turns out to be a really bad app.

Will not transfer more that 15 images at a time!

Great concept, doesn’t work in reality. Fine for 2-3 images, anything larger and the WIFI connection craps out. Probably would work with a cabling system.

Piece of crap. There is no website. Can't transfer my pictures if I can't find a website. It used to work but I don't anymore.
