Love the game: Hate the lag.

Starships is an amazing game, truly. But the lag is unbearable, there really needs to be more stress on the fact that it runs like crap on older iPads. The jittering and freezing can really slow gameplay to a stopping point and down right disappoint me. Do not buy unless you either want a slow, lag filled experience or have one of the newer iPads.

UPDATE: DO NOT BUY The latest version DID NOT fix victory parameters. I like the game... But I regret buying it before the bugs were worked out. FIRST REVIEW: I loved civilization!! I see where the game was going but failed. - Victory parameters are screwy - Game LAGS (I have an 2nd Gen iPad Air ) - Repetition, repetition, repetition..... Did I mention it's the same thing over and over? The price will buy you the exact same experience for every game... Unless you hit a different bug each time. Long story short, buy this ONLY IF you don't mind wasting money.

It can be improved, but this is one of the iPad games as is. A few improvements will make this a great game. Clean up the combat interface and easier to find info on your planets. An overview map showing your location in the universe would be nice.

It's an ok game, but nothing all that great. I played it a few times and lost interest. Definitely not worth the price tag.
Disappointing and way overpriced!

I'm really disappointed with this game, it's pretty basic and the dialogue gets very boring. I find myself just flipping through the boring dialog just so I can get to the next boring battle. It's like a bad version of Civilization Revolution in outer space. After XCom, I really expected more...Really disappointing. This should have been a $4.99 game.

I jumped at the chance to play a Sid Meyers game and I paid the $10. It is not worth it. If you want to play this wait until it goes on sale, it's really not worth the money until then.

Expected better replayability from Sid's game. Wears out quickly. The idea is great but the game is disapointing.
Good game but crashes

This game would be 5 stars but it crashes all the time. It is so frustrating. I have and iPad Air with the latest os and it still crashes. PLEASE FIX THIS GAME
