Time saving shortcuts

Darkbrew

Restrictions from Apple prevent this from being a really powerful app. Not the developers fault. That said I am updating my previous review to say that I have been able to make some time saving workflows, mostly involving calendar and reminders.

Loving it

Love this app. Very useful and works wonderfully with IFTTT. Would love to see the music actions expanded beyond Apple Music. Specifically would like to see this work with Spotify, please.

Shoot, should have listened

I'm a techie with all the new things. I love taking time to learn about them. The great reviews lead me to believe I could do redundant tasks more easily, such as dim my screen brightness at 11pm or have a pop-up reminder every Friday to log my weight. Now it could be that I misunderstood what this app does. That's my fault. It could be that the workflow construction is not intuitive enough and the app WILL do these things. That's the devs' faulty guidance combined with my learning curve. Really wanted to like this. Hate that I wasted $3 for things I can do with one additional click. Yes, I can make a home button prompting me to log my weight to Apple Health. Or, I can force touch Myfitnesspal and hit Log weight. Not even a full click! When using a workflow, it reverts to opening the app Workflow anyway---I don't see the time savings. This app seems designed mostly for auto-sharing (dropbox, pics, making gifs, etc). Might be good for reallllllly long tasks. Such as: I looked at the "Pizza Assistant" workflow but then my head exploded. Nope, I'm not a programmer.

Nice app, but....

- desperately needs a way to copy and paste multiple commands between scripts, and needs subroutines as well. - needs a way to do most of the command entry without taking one's hands off the bluetooth keyboard. I get "gorilla arm" when I use this app for very long. Maybe the tab key or arrow keys could select which command to enter, once a user types in part of a command name. - needs a way to view and change the favorite and hidden attributes of photos, like Pythonista has.

Amazing App

This is the most tech fun I've had since writing my first basic program in the 70s. What a nifty tool for creative minds everywhere. Don't know if I'll ever put a workflow together that saves the World, but I can certainly see I'll be able to create a number of little ones doing cool things that will give me real enjoyment.

Amazing

Has many features, it is very good! But a few features need to be added: copy and pasting, weather modules, and add a community in the app with share and download features, so that I can easily give my workflow to a friend or visa versa.

Finally an app that lets me do what I need!!!

We use a conference call system in my company where the dial in number stays constant but the access code changes. So people generally just put the access code in meeting invites. Big pain when trying to connect from iphone. Either you have to remember 8 digits correctly, switch rapidly between screens, or write the code down. After buying this app I quickly made a work flow where I can highlight the conf code then run the workflow and it dials the access phone number and waits 4 seconds then adds the conf code and # thus connecting me to my conf call. It works perfectly. Note I purchased the text tool add in to eliminate spaces in the conf code that people sometimes add. I love this just for this single purpose but I am sure I will find more uses

Please improve Apple Watch functionality

ElvinOY

I am writing this in the hope that the developers will pay attention to the lack of responsiveness in the Apple Watch workflow app. I wanted to use the log Caffeine and log water function with my watch so that I don't need to pull out my phone while working through out the day. However, the watch app is always too slow and fails to load the log options from time to time. I've seen Workflow app updated several times before I post this; I doubt the developers might not be aware of this issue. Now that the watchOS 3 is coming along I really hope this problem can be solved once and for all!

Overhyped! Update 1.5.2 won't finish.

I Don't Want To Have A Nickname

UPDATE 2: Version 1.5.2 will not complete. UPDATE: Initially gave app 3 stars since it was new. Lowering to 1 star today. Still waiting for a more comprehensive user's manual and have been for months. One short demo video is not enough. Every time I look at the app's icon I immediately feel frustration and just move on. Potential of this app counts for nothing. Still waiting for those additionally promised features such as sync that I can actually benefit from using and a more Apple-like intuitive user interface. Really needs sync capabilities with iCloud or another popular cloud service OR BOTH. I really want this app to work more easily and I don't work for any competitor or app developer. This app is WAY overhyped. It is NOT a 5 star app, not by any stretch of the imagination. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Yes, there are a lot of great features with this app and, according to the developers, there'll be more to come. The instructions on using this app, as mentioned by others, are very sparse. You're taken through one example and then you're on your own. Clearly there needs to be more instruction available to get the most out of this app. The devs have to remember that their knowledge is well above that of the average app user. They need to cater to that average level if they really want to be successful. Finally the bright lime green rectangles with white text makes them impossible to read. The concept is one of the best ever however this is not the world's greatest app. Not yet anyway.

Health

Using the health integration is great! No need to send data elsewhere if you can track it yourself.
