Sometimes you wake up at 3AM because Jeff needs that quarterly report tomorrow. Maybe you have a newborn and your lunch break is your only chance for a power nap. You took the red-eye to Phoenix, but the kid in 3C is using your seat back as a punching bag.

Life is full of challenges. Falling asleep shouldn’t be one of them.

We could tell you we spent many years and hundreds of thousands of dollars researching audio frequencies, sound engineering, and healing (which is true). But who cares? The important thing is we made an app that lets you fall asleep easier, faster, and better than any other method. Even alcohol (we tested this)!

If you’re tired, we can help you fall asleep in seconds. Just download the free Shhh app, plug in your headphones, and tell the world to Shhh.

I have had this app for about 2 or so months and I absolutely love it. I often can’t sleep, and you just plug in headphones (ear buds work best because they are less bulky) and just listen. Puts me to sleep within a half hour. Great app overall!

i missed class and put my academic career in jeopardy
Oh God What Have I Done

you’re getting ready for a 30 minute nap before class. you remember you downloaded some hippie app to make you pass tf out. you open the app and it’s a pleasant calming blue. there’s a power nap option! great! you have class in an hour and a half, the class that’s a review session for a midterm in a class you have a failing grade in. you select power nap, assuming it will wake you up. five minutes in, you wonder if this is actually more affective than music. you take a few deep breaths, vanishing the panic about impending academic failure from your mind. you close your eyes.... you jolt awake, confused. you fumble for your glasses, your phone! oh god where’s your phone? you finally grasp it and turn it over it’s 4:30 pm. you fell asleep at 12:30. your class was at 2 please add an alarm ty

MIRACLE!!!

So I saw this in a Buzzfeed article and let’s just say I was pretty skeptical. I’ve tried everything for my anxiety-induced insomnia: breathing techniques, meditation, “cool-down” activities, melatonin, nothing worked! Headphones in and BAM out like a light within 15 minutes. It used to take me 3 hours to fall asleep. My only disclaimer is 1) this may be a placebo effect and 2) I do use this app in combination with other sleep hygiene routines as well as a sedating medication. I still swear by it, I recommend this and talk about it to all my therapists as a tool to help insomnia. I love it and I can’t thank the developers enough! 10 stars.

Amazing app

This app is simple, but great. Helps you sleep fast, even when you need to sleep when you’re not tired. I recommend this because it switches between different sounds that could make you sleep as well. Many thanks to this app. It has helped me when I need to get to bed early or if I can’t sleep when it’s late.

The best!!
Insomniac?

I’ve had insomnia for over 10 years and I’ve never made it past 2-3 minutes of this before falling asleep! I was so passed out that I would have slept through a storm that produced tornadoes if I didn’t have my AirPods in and the weather alert blasting through didn’t wake me up!!

Very basic

This review is more to do with iOS than Android. I switched devices, from Android to iOS, and all the customization features are gone. On Android you can pick things like ambient sounds or even set a timer, but on iOS all that’s there are the original three choices: Night Sleep, Flight, and Power Nap. Can this please be fixed?

If it doesn’t make me fall asleep quick enough (and I mean just a couple of minutes), some of the sounds wake me up further and make me feel incredibly anxious. It happened a couple of times before but I chalked it up to a stressful day or something but this time I wasn’t able to blame it on anything else. Now I’m awake way too late because my heart rate was increasing and my breathing was getting panicky. Not fun :(
