This app is heavily bloated and lost its track, It used to be simple & practical and buy with iTunes button is gone.

Haven't explored the new upgrade but What happened to the lyrics? Are they elsewhere the main reason why I even have Shazam is because of the lyrics....bring them back if they were removed please!!

Well worth having one of their apps, and I found the ads too irritating and so have really enjoyed the paid app. After installing the latest version it crashes whenever launched, re-downloading did not fix but powering off and then on fixed it. So, as ever, this is a fantastic app!

Watching a news show-IN REAL TIME-I wanted to know the name of a song playing in the background as they went to commercial. I opened the app, rewound the show 30 secs, and Shazaamed it. Well, not only did it correctly I.D. the song, it showed me the name and logo of the news show I was watching (Fast Money), all before they came back from commercial. It couldn't have been more than a minute, delayed from a live show, I don't know how they connected and collected that info so fast, as if it was tagged in advance? And on an Outkast tune on an obscure news program? Like I said, I can't begin to know how they do it, but I'm impressed. I'll definitely use it more often from now on. Incredible improvements! Thanks!

Thank you Shazam for saving my sanity! LOL!! For those (Me) who cannot remember anything in general....... much less the name of a song, lyrics, and/or singers/bands, it's a lifesaver!! I'll hear a song but cannot remember who sings it and it drives me nuts until I can figure it out. We also use it when we play "who sings it". Oh, and did I mention how easy it is to use? Very easy, very reliable! So..... Thanks again Shazam! Keep up the good work!

This app used to be incredible! It could detect any song, anywhere, every time until a few months ago. Now it can only detect songs in *perfect* conditions. I mean sitting next to a premium speaker, in a quiet room, with no one breathing. I tested to see if it's the microphone on my phone but everyone I speak to through my phone says I come through crystal clear like I always have.
