The best app I ever bought

I'm on the road a lot so I can't pull over to write down a song title and singer easily. This app helps me not only with this it makes it simple to add to my iTunes library. Thank you for this wonderful app

I thought by paying THAT much it was going to be like 100% better than the free one, it is like forgotten compared to the other one, now that they got the Apple Music support, really? I mean, we should be the first ones to have that, guess I'm going to use the free one...

In line with others' reviews, one of the more recent updates essentially rendered the app nonfunctional. Additionally, after having used the app for years, there's no longer any point for new users to spend money on this paid version given the lack of attention/effort put on fixing all current issues. Summary of issues: - fundamental feature of ID-ing songs no longer works.. I get an "offline" error message anytime I try & app no longer stores the recording samples for ID later on wifi - Spotify feature was awesome at first, but, like all the other features, it no longer works - limited/unreliable support for Apple Music (& NO support for Apple Watch per other reviewers) - free version is tended to more than this paid version
Was once simple, now too cluttered

I hate what this app has turned into. I recently went to redownload this app and found it so cluttered and bloated. Not to mention its 9MB less in file size with the free version of Shazam. Why? I paid for this app to get rid of distractions- at the time which were ads. Now that distraction is music feeds, sharing this and that on social media, tabs I'll never use, trending songs, artist following, notifications on what jimmy or Jane likes. It's ugly and annoying. What happened to the bare bones version we all loved in 2009??? I would *sigh* pay yet again to have a version of this app STRIPPED DOWN of all the junk and just focus on finding my music and putting it down on a list so I can buy it later. It's all I need as a 22-year old, technically inclined, non-life-revolving-around-social media- individual. C'mon Shazam....

Ever since the last update the app is useless. It gets stuck on the listening screen and does absolutely nothing. ??
