Our community has been waiting for something like this for a long time now, congrats to AWSC on developing this and to continue to support this ground-breaking research. Can't wait to see how this develops

According to Discovery Channel, 141 sharks were tagged last year, almost double that of the year before. This ap shows two sightings and three tag detections so far. I'm sure someone can explain...

For everyone mad that there were no sharks showing up on the app, check it out today! Great app! I love looking at it each day. The AWS Conservatory is doing wonderful work. Keep it up!

Thank you! I love this app. So helpful to know what is going on and where. Sharks are an important part of the Eco system and having the knowledge is a huge help.

It was good to open the app this morning to find there was a great white close to shore.looking forward to see how many are sited and/or get tagged this summer. Each year the number keeps going up!

Unlike other reviewers, I used the app for a week before making a judgement. Yes, it crashed for a couple days, but it's working now and it's great. First off, it's FREE. As a surfer, I like that the app gives me an idea of where shark activity is higher, and seems like it will only get better with time/more sightings. Also, I like that if you see a shark you can submit your own sighting. Very cool.

Love this app! It was great to get live updates the other day when the research team was put on the water! Even actual pictures of the shark at the surface showing its amazing dorsal fin. We are early in the shark season and some good activity already! (Or should I say Sharktivity) Can't wait for the peak of WS season. Great job AWSC!!!!

Meh, agree with others that it's a great idea, however the execution of this app is poor. Hoping it improves and in the meantime, I'll stick to my sharktracker app.

I pushed the compass button so now I'm looking at a satellite image of my neighborhood lol! Lots of sharks there? I can't figure out how to get back to shark tracker page. I've been enjoying the app so far though.

Srsly! This app is, like, the best. It even spotted one coming up the drain into my bathtub! What will they think of next. I hope they get some iPhone 5s into the hands of some seals so they can enjoy it.
