The previous reviewer is correct....this game is very similar to Tiny Wings. In fact, there are several Tiny Wings type games available now. But there is one HUGE difference in this game and the other knockoffs...this game works REALLY well! You control the shark in this game the same way you control the bird in Tiny Wings.....you touch the screen and the shark dips down into the waves, and you remove your finger and the shark rises above the waves. But when I play Tiny Wings, the gameplay sometimes gets a tiny bit choppy. So far, I have not experienced that with this game. For me, the gameplay with this game has been even smoother than that of Tiny Wings. The one area where this game could use some improvement is with the challenge of the game. The challenge in Tiny Wings is twofold; you want to beat your own previous high score, and you want to make it to the next island/level. But in this game, your challenge is limited to beating your own high score. It doesn't make sense for a shark to jump from island to island like the bird does in Tiny Wings, but it would be nice if the developers could come up with some way of reaching a higher level. So as it is now, I am giving this game a 4 star rating based on the fact that it is fun and the gameplay is just so dang smooth. But I don't think it will hold my interest for long without some kind of additional challenge. But WITH more challenge and/or levels, I would easily rate it as 5 star....maybe even better than Tiny Wings. AND it would then be a game that I would happily pay for.

I really like this app. I'm a big fan of shark week, so this was pretty cool. It is not the best app you app you can get, but I still like it. I also like how it has no distance limit, just how far you can go in 60 seconds. Pretty good for when your bored. I would give this app 4.5 stars but I can't, so I settled with 5. P.S it did not crash for me.
