It was great until...

The Anti-Glitch Club

On the 13th of August I purchased gems for $1.99. I was supposed to receive 28 gems. When I purchased them, the app accepted my purchase and took money from my account. The game then froze, so I exited out and went back. When I came back, my gem had not shown up yet. I went about a day and a half waiting for them to show, before I contacted Customer Service. I sent screenshots of the purchase as they asked and then they proceeded to explain that I had used my 28 gems on the 8th Episode of the Breakfast Club within 2 minutes of receiving them. I told them that I would like to know the exact choice I chose, and they continued to give me information that had nothing to do with what I asked for. I’ve never had this problem with any of the other story-telling apps (Episode, Choices, etc;). I’ve been looking at other reviews, and almost every one of them contain a complaint about a bug or glitch that disrupted their gameplay as well. My money literally just went down the drain. I’d also like to mention a glitch in the game the removes the clothes of the characters. This happened to me often, especially during the Breakfast Club series. The only way I could fix it, was to exit from the game and reopen it (which became TEDIOUS!). Hopefully my issue and other issues will be investigated more, but I seriously just want to delete the app, get a refund, and call it a day...?

Why does it take so many gems to make a choice. It would be much better to have the choices be like 10 gems not 28 especially when we only get one per episode

I first want to say I have NEVER paid real money to continuously play a game on a phone, with that being said it is a GREAT game my only dislike is how much you guys charge for the Gems and how many we use on one turn is RIDICULOUS this is hands down the reason why I most likely will stop playing the game. I refuse to spend $20.00 or more everyday just to get extra information in a game that I should get anyway. The ticket prices are reasonable but yea the Gems are too high. Lower prices you guys will win the long run

Did not deliver new Episodes as promised...

Really like being the new kid in Saved by the Bell. Did not like being lied to that the new episodes for Season 2 would be out YESTERDAY...

The storylines are great, except for the fact that you barely have any choices if you refuse to buy their fake currency. I would understand if it were outfits, but even those seems like something you can’t do without because we live in a superficial society and you have better relationships and opportunities in certain outfits. So essentially your character and their story is pretty boring unless you’re willing to throw away a bunch of money. That’s the problem with these pay to play games, the only way to have any actual fun with it is to be a snobby rich kid that can spare $100 for the fake currency. Then there’s the glitches. The ad system that gives you free gems is a joke, it crashes all the time and obviously doesn’t reward me with the gem after forcing me to watch the ad. The connection error pops up ALL the time (so I’m glad it’s not just me based on these reviews) and it can only be fixed by deleting and reinstalling the game. The tickets take a bit too long to regenerate as well. I understand that, again, it’s about money but for two and a half hours you should get at least more than two measly tickets that give you ~20 minutes of gameplay. Between all these issues, I likely won’t play any more once I finish Vanderpump, Zena, and What’s the Scoop. The Breakfast Club was the most tolerable with regard to the gems issue (I used them only once to save my relationship with Bender), but Vanderpump just makes you feel like a tool for not buying into the scam at every corner of the storyline. I’d rather find a free game that doesn’t give me empty content, it seems like EA made this.

Character Customization

I Really Like This Game And Enjoy The Stories A Lot But The Character Customization Seems Like It Needs More. For Example, You Should Add In The Option To Change Eyebrow Color No Matter What Color Skin You Pick. I Also Think That The Character We Play As Look Too Cartoony Compared To The Other Characters. Also An Option You Should Make Is Letting Us Pick A Pose For Our Character. I See A Lot Of Characters In The Stories Posing With Their Hands On Their Hips Or Hands In Their Pocket And It Really Add More Personality To Them. I Really Hope You Read This And Add These. Thank You In Advance.
