After trying foscams hard to setup ip cameras this camera and software was godsend. Took 10 mins to setup and never had a problem since. Highly satified customer here. Good job Pyle !!

Can't even get through the sign-up screen; when entering my username and password, no matter what I choose, it tells me to "begin with the letters." Great job guys ?
WiFi pairing does not work

WiFi pairing/configuration does not work. Able to get to the point where it says to increase volume on the phone, but nothing can be heard while it is supposed to be configuring itself, and configuration inevitably fails.
When it works - it's not bad

Nothing is nicer than seeing your cats safe at home when you're away on a trip - unless you can't, which happens fairly regularly with this product. The app is horrible, impossible to use and confusing. Looks like very little effort went into its design and usability. Setup is not a breeze by any means. At least 40% of the time the app won't connect to the camera - even when nothing has changed (same wifi, consistent power, up to date app, etc). It's a mystery. When it does work, it pans just fine and quality is acceptable. Speaking through the app makes a horrendous echo on the camera end - it's fine to attract the attention of a pet, but you won't be having a full conversation with someone without extreme difficulty. Let's finish on a high note. The pros: - cheap - image quality good when it works - night vision works
Good camera, awful app

Set up is a pain. Randomly won’t connect. When it works, it’s perfect! My frustration right now is with the most recent update. The camera won’t support 5GHz band WiFi. Our WiFi is dual band and there is no way to change it from our 5GHz band to 2GHz band, rendering the camera useless unless we hook it to an Ethernet cable. If they fix this issue, I’d be willing to add another star or two.

This app is pretty easy to use but video fails to load between 10-30% of the time.

The camera was easy to setup (w/network cable), had everything working w/o reading the instruction... went back and read the docs to see if I missed any features. I now can see what the dogs do when I’m not watching, they swear they’re innocent :)

This device is a big headache. I will not recommend this device. The set up is difficult and is not easy at all. Once you finally get the device set up to reposition it in another area, you get an “offline” message. It works well if you keep it plugged to a wall (which is a must) and the Ethernet plugged in this product may get 2 stars. Don’t waste your time with this product.

Camera works great picking up motion but don’t have an option to activate record in settings under motion detection. Camera will not snapshots or record with SD inserted. No use.
