Great app if the links worked.

Since we are doing online classes we are using seesaw a lot more. Only bug is the links do not work on iOS devices. They work on PC, Android and Kindle. Had to log into different devices to get assignments Aldine today.

Unworkable, bugs cause my kid to fall behind

Iratherfly

This is. User experience nightmare. Unread message and notification icons don’t reset or change numbers when you read messages. Neither us or the kid can respond to or like posts that other student can due to a mystery bug so the kid can’t participate in the projects. Her only options are to generate a QR code which my 7 year old needs ...why??? Videos say “object not found” or “this video isn’t ready to play”. Messages appear on a different feed than notifications -why not just give them different icon or color? Getting to messages I have to click class announcements to even see them (why are we reinventing the concept of inbox?). Worst, for the life of me, I can’t understand why I need a class app AND a family app with the same username/password that show some of the same posts but responding to the feed of one doesn’t show up in the other. Don’t even get me started on the discombobulated registration/approval process. It’s also not paperless; every project here I need to send to my printer and this must go through texting myself because this app can’t send anything to print. As a UX/UI designer with 17 years experience -I hope this gets fixed or disappears along with that darn coronavirus.

Unorganized, the social feed of educational resources

Tk0013

As a student this is organized when a child works in their own account. However, as a parent resource, this app is incredibly frustrating and unorganized if you have more than one child. The posts are added by your children’s teacher and isn’t sorted by student. This makes everything a constant mixed social feed and makes you spend more time trying to find resources and feeds, vs. actually pulling up the per child activities. Significant improvements could be made in this app for parent use.

Won’t let me sign up

qodjebcje

I’m a student and my teacher uses this for projects. However I’m not able to even sign up. Every time I sign in it just says I need to add a child. Is there supposed to be a student option?

Great app for school

VTlovesccakes

This is definitely a great app. I am a student and use it at school. Since of the Coronavirus this school year my teacher said that we can use this app at home and post stuff. But this really is a great app for school.

App doesn’t work

protipster

Have an account on the computer but can’t use the iPad app for some reason. After logging in it says no child is associated with this account. Makes no sense! Also, this platform doesn’t work on Mac Safari at all, and is very buggy on Chrome and Firefox. Avoid if you can!

Could be great but 2 major issues

Heidin6kids

Teacher sent me a 12 digit code to add second child. App only allows QR code with no option for entering the 12 digit code. Also- it’s very clumsy to toggle between students.

Confusing and low end

Unateka

We have been trying to get all this to work. It is extremely confusing. The teachers are also quite confused. Can’t they just make this easy to use?
