Best new app for blind people!

I've never found a bar code reader app that worked reliably until now. I tested it on cans, small bottles, and plastic packages, which are notorious for not reading well. It worked every time. Love the scene beta feature, too. Tons of potential there. Haven't had a chance to try that one outside too much, but everything I've asked it to identify inside, it's been right on the money.

Remember the days of standalone scanning machines and the minutes we had to wait for each single page of error filled readings. This app is nothing short of miraculous and it's ability to read in real Time with 99% accuracy is nothing short of miraculous. Thank you Microsoft keep up the good work! If you could add Hebrew as a language that would be much appreciated

This app shows that Microsoft is really working hard towards changing its culture and bringing more empathy among themselves. The products like Seeing AI is a step in right direction to show the world the power of AI and how it can play a positive role in human lives and in this case it can really help visually impaired people to be independent. The OCR on this app is outstanding. Much more accurate than the others I have tried. And so versatile! I had a Pen Friend I was using to label products in the kitchen. Don’t need that anymore. This app not only tells you what the product is from reading the barcode, it can also give you package information such as directions for preparation. Are use it to read signs in the hallways of buildings and on the street. And I can freeze frame text in a video and read that, too. I literally use it every single day. Thank you, Microsoft!

I was never able to read print as I was born blind, so now thanks to this app I can read things all over the place, from someones tv program to my mail to candgoods to bags of coffee. reading this stuff has helped me so much, thank you.
This app does what others have been trying to do all along.

When I firstsaw this app, I was truly skeptical. How could a free app be better for the blind than an app which costs $100 and an app which has, in a way, been the defacto standard for the blind for years? This app has gone above and beyond my expectations. It takes users like me, who have been blind from birth, into account. I am horrible at aiming my camera to get a good picture of a document, even after years of practice. Seeing AI not only guides me through the photo taking process, without needing to repeatedly tap on my iPhone screen. It also takes the picture automatically. And, because the app helps me aim, I am able to get many more automatic picture takes then quite a few other apps I've tried. If I just want to know what a document is, rather than read the whole thing, using short text is a great option. But the real kicker is the bar code scanner. After years of testing a variety of bar code reading apps, I have had very little success. The audio beeps really help me get accurate scans. I have even been able to identify traditional cans, which have previously been the hardest things for me to scan. That, to me, is amazing. And, the app is free. This almost sounds too good to be true, but it's not.

As a person who is been blind all my life, this app is absolutely wonderful. Our use this app on a daily basis, from reading my mail, to reading a screen on a tablet, to putting groceries away. This app is very invaluable, and it has changed my life immensely. I love the new features, especially the Curren$y feature. This is another big game changer. Keep up the great work, and here’s to a wonderful and prosperous 2018 with this company.
