Push your luck: do you settle here, on this not-quite-ideal planet, or keep searching and risk your ship being damaged in the journey? The planets you encounter are randomly generated, and as you travel you encounter random events, so each playthrough is different. See the stories of the colonies you found, and keep trying for a higher score.
I played this game before it was an app and I’m delighted to see it on the iPhone. It has so much depth, a simple concept that gets deeper the more you look at it. I’m definitely going to enjoy the chance to play it again.
This was honestly a stunning idea of a game and it was executed beautifully but the game could use some sprussing up a bit. There are no visuals and I think the addition of visual media was add greatly to the experience.
Can you add like when you go on the planet and thief is intelligent life can you tell us what else happens
this game is excellent. the writing is effective, the random events are interesting, and the management system is great. unfortunately, there’s not much below the skin here. finding a suitable planet before your ship is destroyed is literally all there is to it. a game lasts around 10-20 minutes, and once you beat the game with a half-decent colony, you’re gonna have trouble being interested if you play the game again. i can see this game being developed into something larger in scope, but if this is all we get then it was a great little game. hope we see more from this dev!
As an aficionado of storygame sims and a lover of the civ genesis genre, I give 5 big stars to Seedship. It’s a simple short game, and undemanding, but with great realism and replayability. All text and imagination based, but it’s exciting to see what kind of civilization you can propagate based on your starfaring choices.
The storytelling part of the game is amazing and there’s so many possibilities but make sure to not destroy the scanners
Seedship is a good sci-fi game, but there aren’t enough different choices for it to be truly great. If you add a lot more variety, then it’ll be a truly fantastic game. Maybe a few more descriptions for deaths and more possible endings and this game will be amazing.
Games great, if you add anything or fix bugs then that’s great, honestly I just want more, make another game, expand it. I’ll pay for a game that’s like this but bigger. 10/10 nice work
