Good app needs some obvious fixes... in the works.

I use Scribble extensively for teaching purposes. It’s more reliable and prettier than LiveBoard or MS Whiteboard, but I’m consistently annoyed at the little things I’m not able to do. - Cannot change order of whiteboard pages. - Cannot remove people from the shared whiteboard screen. It’s cluttered with people who I no longer teach. - Cannot just insert an image. This is so basic!! You can only make a new whiteboard with that image taking up the whole width. - The eraser is extremely unintuitive. E.g. Selecting and moving an area that has been erased carries over the eraser marks. If you use this app often, all these little things you can’t do add up to a frustrating experience. The good news: developers are starting to make changes. Here’s something I used to complain about that has since been fixed: - Cannot choose whiteboard when using iOS dark mode; I don’t like the blackboard.

Great for remote teaching

I use this for collaborative, remote teaching of small classes in college, and it works great. It updates truly in real time, and the idea of scrolling together is very useful. The alternative I have tried is Microsoft Whiteboard, but while that might be fine for MS Surface devices, it works very poorly on iPad. For scribble together, there is a web version for Surface devices, and according to my students that also works well. The only thing missing from my perspective is lined background for pages, but I have managed that by using a lined pdf as background; and the developers gave feedback that lined background are high on the priority list.
Gets the job done at a reasonable price, needs video chat

Simple & to the point, without all the frills of the other apps. This is great for teaching when all you want to do is just draw on the whiteboard and have your students see what you are doing in real time. Doesn’t get bogged down with any confusing enterprise features & students don’t need to sign up for a special account- just download the app & click the invite link to the whiteboard. I only wish it had its own built-in video chat, instead of having to rely on FaceTime (or whatever Android & PC students are supposed to use), or at least gave us the option for built-in video chat. Some students are less tech-savvy than others and switching back & forth between this and FaceTime is a bit tedious. Having the video built-in would make this the simplest one-app teaching/learning platform, streamlining the process of seeing what the student is working on, taking a screenshot, and then marking it up on the whiteboard. Also, just sayin’, there’s free browser-based whiteboards out there that have built-in video chat... jus sayin...
Way better than the Apple notes app

The latencies are 10x lower than Apple notes and sharing is super super easy. Was waiting a long time for such an app
Great app but 1 problem

I love this app it has all the tools I need but I have 1 concern. I know that you can draw straight lines and stuff but can you make it possible to draw perfect letters? That will be great because I have no Apple Pencil or anything like that cool stuff. I tried making block letters but they just won’t go neat. Please add this feature, thanks and please make this update! Thank you!
