Gets the job done at a reasonable price, needs video chat – Scribble Together Whiteboard Review

Simple & to the point, without all the frills of the other apps. This is great for teaching when all you want to do is just draw on the whiteboard and have your students see what you are doing in real time. Doesn’t get bogged down with any confusing enterprise features & students don’t need to sign up for a special account- just download the app & click the invite link to the whiteboard. I only wish it had its own built-in video chat, instead of having to rely on FaceTime (or whatever Android & PC students are supposed to use), or at least gave us the option for built-in video chat. Some students are less tech-savvy than others and switching back & forth between this and FaceTime is a bit tedious. Having the video built-in would make this the simplest one-app teaching/learning platform, streamlining the process of seeing what the student is working on, taking a screenshot, and then marking it up on the whiteboard. Also, just sayin’, there’s free browser-based whiteboards out there that have built-in video chat... jus sayin...
