Can’t get the video ad screen off my iPad

I am glad to watch the ads to be able to play this fantastic game for free. However, they continue to use ads that get stuck on my iPad screen for hours. How stupid! Fix the X so it works so we can get the ad off our screen! You need to listen! Fix the X. How ironic! I can’t watch your ads when my screen is stuck with all black and “learn more” and an X that doesn’t work, for hours.
More ads than play

There is an ad literally after every single play. It’s to the point that there is way more ads then actual gameplay.

This game is an insult to serious adults who want a challenging word game. NO ONE CARES about the backs of their tiles and all the silly points and side games! It’s bad enough to put up with the ads and I won’t pay for it because I can’t trust it will work. There’s so much unnecessary crap loading, every time I click on my game in progress, the app kicks me out and shuts down. What a nuisance! Going back to play WWF.

Game is fun for sure but BOY are there a million scammers on here. I can’t play a game without someone trying to get information from me. Just a little creepy especially if you have kids that play it. Too many weirdos!!!! Just beware!

However you have a few ads on your app that freeze & I have to close the app & restart. Then any reward I might have won is gone. Very annoying. the publishers clearing house ad
Sexist demeaning junk ads

Reduced from 2 to 1 star, sexist junk ads. I can tolerate ads for really stupid games to avoid the crazy monthly subscription, but some of them are outright sexist and even worse, demeaning to young girls. Young men drop ‘plain’ girls for ‘sexy beautiful’ replacement. Dropped girl declares she will change herself. Different hair, sexier clothes, all to win back the boy she lost. That is an irresponsible message to send to young girls. This company should drop those advertisers or face public humiliation. I gave 2 stars because the game at its core is not bad, but the ads and bling, collecting junk prizes is undesirable.

When playing against a computer, it shouldn’t take 10+ minutes for the computer to play its turn. I like playing against a computer for a faster moving game. Sometimes it takes longer for the computer to make its play than a real life opponent.

I can stomach the annoying graphics, messy interface and silly challenges. But the annoying video ads are played after EVERY move. And many of these ads cannot be exited, so they end up playing for a full minute or so. This is not worth sitting through for this trash version of a formerly great game.
