Terrible implementation of a great game

I hate this app. Ads can’t be eliminated and waste my life away. They even have trick ads that fake the x box! Should be removed from App Store. Shame on hasbro scrabble for selling out to this terrible scopely monopoly.

I love this game and can get lost in it for hours. Consider it educational, since spelling and language are part of the fun. ?
Ads seek to identify children

An advertisement asks if you are a child 15 years or younger. Concerning for an app that connects with others and has in-app purchases. Unity ads won’t allow continued playing until your child tells them their age. They can’t wait out the timer like other ads. Trying to identify children is sick.

If it wasn’t for my main gripe this game would totally get 5 stars, saying that I first must say I LOVE playing for the variety of puzzles, fast pace, challenges and multiple active games I may have going at once. Downside, I’ve had for barely two weeks and this is the 3rd time I’ve had to delete and download as hours pass without it able to open/load. I am aware that this could totally be a connection error but I do receive my service through a very known service provider in the US so am doubtful that that is the issue. This wouldn't be that frustrating but I am in my 3rd day of the free trail (I initially downloaded 1/31) period because I got totally hooked. I would like to be a subscriber because it is such fun aside from being tired of seeing ads which took away from my play time and the added rewards/challenges but am hoping once my monthly fee, dun dun dun, is collected maybe the glitch will be gone and if not, sigh, that will be disappointing. Play on ?

There is so much visual clutter and animated garbage, all I want to do is play Scrabble. And $8/mo to play without ad interruptions? How much to play Scrabble without cartoons and power ups?

This game is rated for 9 year olds and I keep receiving very sexually explicit ads. Not sure if there is a way to turn it off. But this is wrong
Horrible cash grab that used to be a fun game

I’ve been playing Scrabble since the original EA app, and was certainly willing to give this new one a try, but it’s been out for over a year now and the game is constantly buggy. Buttons don’t always work, and in some tournament games, the dictionary isn’t even fully implemented! That and games will suddenly end despite having 3sec left on the timer. These problems persist update after update and Scopely is more concerned with charging top dollar for extremely subpar “features” like ACCESS TO THE DICTIONARY than making a functional app. And if you decide to go the free route for this app, you will be forced to watch an ad after literally every move.
The ads drive me nuts!

Not only are there too many ads but my game keeps getting stuck on a Redfin real estate ad that I can’t close and I have to either turn off and on my phone or uninstall and reinstall the app to get it working again! Why isn’t there a paid ad-free version already?!
