You won't get your money back.

If you lose your job (like I did) and you don't promptly cancel your account (I canceled every one of my subscriptions except this one because it wasn't listed in my subscriptions and I forgot that I had it even though I halted so many others in an attempt to slow down the drain on my bank account (it happens when you have automatic withdrawals set up) and I unfortunately didn't remember that I had it until I saw an account withdrawal for $39.99, and when I called them to explain this and also that I'd lost my job over a month and a half before and am still looking and requested a refund due to a temporary hardship and that money is tight and that though I value having access to the information, that it is an expense that I cannot currently justify against the rate at which my bank account is dropping against living expenses, although the customer service rep said he understood and had also experienced losing his job sometime back and offered to submit for the refund, I was somewhat stunned that the company put its needs before what would have been a humanitarian response to a customer reaching out and asking for relief, baring his financial difficulty to a stranger on the other end of the phone. In fact I was so stunned at them simply reaching into my account and then refusing a refund that I called them back and told them that they got $40 out of me, but it would be the last $40 they'd ever get. I cancelled the subscription outright and when I am back to work and have need of credit monitoring services, I'll be sure to go with any other company, but I'll never deal with this one again. If you subscribe, think twice before submitting your credit card information. They will withdraw the money from your account and they will put the needs of their company first before the needs of you as a customer no matter what your reasons are and no matter how valid they might be. I never thought I would write a review quite like this one but in this case and with this company I'm service, I think my review is spot on. I won't say that it's a bad service because it's not but it's only a good service to have as long as you can continue to pay the bill. Otherwise, buyer beware. Thank you for contacting ScoreSense®Customer Care. After careful review of your account, the following refund requests have been processed: TRANSACTION DATE BILLED AMOUNT REFUND STATUS 08/18/2017 $39.95 Not Approved The refund decision is based in part on how long the account has been active and the services provided. Important refund status information: NOT APPROVED: The refund was not approved because you requested the refund after your communicated billing date. Sincerely, ScoreSense Customer Care

Wavecrusher1

I have found this app provides a better overall picture than some of the single monitoring service providers that are free from credit card companies.

Beware they have your info down in Costa Rica

Missv03

I called to cancel my services and the call center is in Costa Rica. Nonetheless, the sales person try to scare me with the Equifax breach to try to sell me some sort of insurance and warned me several times abt my info getting stolen, so bad that now I feel unsafe about them having my info down in Costa Rica! His "good bye" Words were "be careful now with your info" who says that?? I'll be blaming score sense in case that now my info gets breached! Thanks score sense.
