the app frequently gets stuck on an operation, like a price update. a user should be able to back out of a request that does into an endless loop. but no. short of a device reboot, the user - me - has to wait for a timeout and log back in. a basic usability necessity: the ability of the user to back out of a request that produces an error condition. in this case, a request that cannot (for whatever reason) be fulfilled. basic usability, as per Nielsen.


New trade fee

Not exactly happy about the new OTC fee of $6.95 per trade. May be moving everything over to my Vanguard account.


Terrible . Stick with Crypto

The difficulty trying to set up a debit card to fund my account without waiting a week for a wire transfer is not worth the frustration. After trying for about 40 minutes and filling out forms confirming emails and checking boxes I still can’t get the cash into my account. Smoked a joint and Fomo’d a few thousand into Coinbase on Loopring. This took about 2 minutes.


Get errors for usage on iPad app

There are features that I can’t use or that I get an error message when I try to use them even though I have updated the app to the most current version.


No 401k Account

You can’t use this app to access or view your 401k plans with Schwab. Why have separate apps? It a company can’t manage basic app development can they be trusted to manage finances?

I called to get help I was having problems with verification code and my cell phone I spoke to Schwab employee Adam on the phone he was very courteous extremely helpful had great suggestions really appreciated talking to him at 8:30 on a Saturday night thank you very much for that service I really appreciate his help thank you

I’ve had my account for about a year and I’ve had nothing but great service and functional technology applications that are quick and easy to use. Great bank! And you can actually reach customer service quickly and they resolve any questions or issues professionally in a timely manner.

I've used Wachovia, Wells Fargo, a local credit union, Fidelity, Scottrade, and Schwab throughout my life. As far as financial institutions go, Schwab has been light years ahead of anyone else. It's an institution that Just Works. They don't try to squeeze you on fees, either monthly or from drafting. They just do what banks do best, and behave like you would expect someone who holds your money; you know it's secure, and you won't get met with annoying rules and limits if you ever want to use it. As you would expect a bank with minimal retail locations, you can do almost anything you'd want to do with this app.


Terrible app

App does not let you go back and see your individual stocks after making a trade. You have to close and reopen the app. Its terrible.
