Needs ability to send multiple files to share extension

jfaughnan

It is almost good. Problem is you have to open a scan to get the share extension (save to google drive, etc). Bad workflow. Want to do bunch of scans, save all to Google/Dropbox, then delete all UI exists for delete all, so need extend. Also need cleaner way to switch from using mobile app to using desktop app. Should be a control in mobile app.

Scan to WebDAV

Where is the love for SMBs and individuals that value privacy and don't want to make their very personal data available to Google and friends? Please add the ability to upload to WebDAV location, e.g. The local NAS.

Good App, Update Falls Flat

I like the fact that we are receiving an update at all, improvements and bug fixes are always welcomed. I'm a bit mystified by the fact that they chose the most obscure cloud providers for its new syncing function. My primary players are Box.net and iCloud. Dropbox is okay, but I never use that account because I'm more of a business user. OneDrive and Google Docs just never meshed well with my workflow. And what about SMB and WebDAV? Still love the App, but the new sync feature seems more like a tac-on.

Cloud Sync

With this update to support Dropbox and Google Drive syncing it's much better! I would still like the ability to bulk export off documents via email. But at least they go to my Dropbox all at once. Original review: For as much money as I spent on the ix500, I expect a simple bulk export feature instead of having to create an email for every single scan I want to send from the device.

Export profile YYYYMMDD etc

The app isn't perfect but greatly improves productivity by not needing to dock my laptop every time I need to scan a document. I'd like to have the ability to define my own file name with my own separators and format (e.g YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS) to break it up and make it easier to file and search later in file explorer. And perhaps define my own export folder in OneDrive, but let's not go overboard or anything.

Cloud Sync to Onedrive for Business

Cloud sync for Onedrive does not connect to Onedrive for Business account.

Please update!

Love the way it scans from my Fujitsu portable scanner. But please add the feature and the ability to upload multiple scanned files to Google Drive or any other cloud storage services! It takes too long to upload individually!!!

Worst product ever

If i could i would give it 0 stars the scanner ix100 connects only 30% of the time to the phone. The iphone can never find its wifi signal. Actually banging it on the desk makes it work sometimes. Worst money ever spent. I will burn mine in my fire pit because even dealing with fijjitsu is not worth this headache.

Connects great, interface and service are lacking

Ok, so the app does what it's supposed to do. It connects to my ScanSnap ix500, and it scans. That's the good part. Now on to the critiques: 1.) The app hasn't been updated to take advantage of the iPhone 6 or (I'm assuming) 6s screens. For a scanning app, it would seem like the extra screen real-estate would be useful. 2.) The app looks old. I know that sounds picky, but when you buy a $400-ish scanner, you'd expect that the accompanying app would keep up with the design language of the most current iteration of iOS (currently iOS 9.3 as of this review). 3.) The cloud syncing options are a bit too limited. I personally still use Dropbox, so it works for me, but there should be options for iCloud Drive among others. 4.) I know I can create a note in Evernote via the "Open In..." Menu, but this is a bit clunky. Evernote should be integrated at a deeper level, allowing the user to automatically create a new note with each scan. 5.) Alternatively to #4, instead of a simple "Scan" button, how about a "Scan to Evernote," a "Scan to Dropbox," etc... type configuration? Anyway, glad to have the app, but I'll be happier when the app looks like it belongs on the phone I'm using it on.
