Absolute waste of money

DeSorGo

I've tried numerous articles, textbook pages, and papers I've written and it will 90% of the time not recognize any text at all. The other 10% when it actually does scan it will be completely incorrect. This is a great idea for an app but this software, and would have been very very helpful for my finals but it obviously needs a lot more help before it will truly be successful in my opinion. I only wish I could receive a refund.

Waste of money

It didn't recognize a single word from a typewritten page. Not one word. The free online OCR websites worked much much better with the same scanned page.

Very Useful

..and accurate.

The Absolute Worse

This app almost never works and when it does, the words are usually jumbled. The customer service also denied me a refund and promised an update that never came. Do yourself a favor and get the CamScanner app. It actually works.

Very helpful

Although the scanner may miss a few words or completely change a word, it is worth the $1.99. Gets the work done so much faster!

Fabulous App

I love it! I'm able to scan in information from various web pages on whatever subject I'm researching; put them together and save for future reference. This app is great!

Slooooow!

Cybernettr

Like most OCR apps, recognition is slow. It takes about half a minute to recognize each page. Obviously, if you want to scan and recognize multiple pages, the process is even slower. You must snap the first page, then wait for it to recognize, then snap the second page and wait for it to recognize, and so on. This makes the process VERY laborious. It would have made so much more sense to be able to scan multiple pages all at once and THEN let it do the OCR on all those pages at the same time, but of course, it doesn't let you do that.

I just got it and test it, and didn't go slow, have to test it with longer text but for now I'm happy.

Not Happy

Tried to use this app. Toke awhile would not scan a 8 x 11 printer hotel bill. Not happy with it at all
