It was surprisingly hard to find a non shady, free barcode scanner. This is great.

Amazing scanner

This thing scans fantastically well, even on my horrible old iPhone 6 that is on its last legs. It can pick up barcodes even at the most challenging angles - it’s so sensitive I had to make a little cardboard mask to ensure it wasn’t picking up adjacent barcodes. The only challenge is that this seems to really be a trial version so you can see how well it works. If yo want to integrate into a proper system I expect you’d have to subscribe to something. I ended up using a trial of their keyboard wedge to import barcodes into an email which I then was able to use.

Yea, so I scanned. So what?

What this app needs is to copy the scanned code to the clipboard. What other uses does it have than to display the scanned data on the device screen?

Best 2D app

Many bar code scanners, but only few can read from angle when access is restricted and inverse bar codes. Only few allow you to copy or share scanned code(s).

What are you doing???

This app was perfect for me for work. You changed the way the one of many scans now everything just dances on my screen. If I want my screen to breakdance I just pull up YouTube. The one of many now scans everything BESIDES what I need. Thanks ?

I never write reviews

I really enjoyed using your app up until your most recent update where you changed the “one of many” functionality, it’s not better in any sense of the word. Please let us have an option amongst all your other scan options. PS I work for a school system in the technology department and I used this app almost everyday and even recommended to others in the department. It was that good. This app works great when it has the tools I want at the ready.

Best power-user barcode app, hands down

I write inventory management software and was on the hunt for a good barcode reading App after moving to iPhone from Android. The amount of utter garbage and obvious ad-grab reskin rubbish is rampant on the App Store. Also, I don’t need a monthly subscription for barcode reader. Then I discovered this App. I never write reviews but it’s absolute travesty this App has hardly any. First, most of the garbage readers out there require an internet connect so you are basically sending all the pictures of your barcode off to some 3rd party service. Scandit barcode scanning operates 100% locally (works in airplane mode) so your data is private. This is also very important to me as I sometimes will be debugging private, customers-specific issues that I don't want going to some rando. Scandit is the best barcode reading app one out there. It gives the most information about each symbology, stores a history, and is completely ad-free. I’d pay money for this App, it is so good, but it looks like Scandit (the company) sells their SDK so their financial incentive is not based around ripping off iPhone users. I will likely be investigating their SDK for my IMS in the future.

Did exactly what I wanted

The chairman!

I was trying to add my gym membership barcode into my Garman account so I could display it on my watch but I need to know what kind of a barcode I had in this app identified the barcode and gave me the information absolutely amazing

Very clean barcode scanner

DHL Man

This was exactly what I was looking for. Needed a barcode scanner that would scan any 1D or 2D technology, give me symbology info along with content. Did not want anything built around shopping or product comparison. This is a perfect, true barcode scanner. Thanks!

Well thought out and capable

This app has plenty of features for different barcode scanning scenarios. Way more functionality than I would’ve expected in a free app. Very useful!
