I’d been trying to find a barcode scanner that would decode some document 2D and other codes. This turned out to be a frustrating endeavor. I downloaded app after app after app. The app store has a seemingly inexhaustible list of apps that purport to do. I’d read the description of the app in the app store, read it’s data collection, tracking, and privacy policy, and if it claimed to decode arbitrary barcodes and wasn’t too onerous with data collection, I’d download and try it, only to find it ignored any barcode I checked. I assume these apps are just for checking prices on UPC codes or something. Useless. App after app after app. Then I found Scandit. It scans, decodes, and displays every code I’ve tried! Without ads or upsells to subscription services or requiring an account with them or only working with desktop products. I realize the app is a demo for their SDK, which is why it actually does what I want and doesn’t demand my data, my privacy, or my money. I hope lots of app developers use their SDK because, judging from Scandit, it does it all.
Bare bones, but fast, reliable and simple. Always works and no overload of features

Works perfect for needing to copy and paste a barcode from a tag into a text field. Saves time and always works. Definitely love the any code feature
No nonsense scanner app

No nonsense scanner app for most 1D/2D codes. Looks like it is a demo for their sdk. However it is a perfect tool if you just want to scan a code.

This app is so great, I want to give the developers some money, but there is no way. Maybe have an ad supported free version with an unlock for a reasonable fee?

Been using this for a long time. Best and fastest scanner ever used. Low light, shaky hand, angle, it all works. Probably scans better than my $400 handheld scanner at work (DS-8108)

Love it! Only thing I wished was different…. I would love to see an option for “start up” mode. I would like to set a default type of scan to scan when I open the app without clicking the type each and every time. Just a wish! Otherwise app is GREAT!

Scans good but I can’t find a way to export the scans so I can work with them.

Thanks for this great scanner. It’s not cluttered with distracting ads. The only thing missing is good instructions, but in time I’ll learn by doing. Keep up the good work!
