iPad Air 2 doesn’t iPad Pro,iPhone 11 and 12 do

Some devices stopped working with iOS 14 but others work. I changed my iPad Air 2 - which stopped working with the app once I updated it to iOS 14 - to a mini 4, which I won’t update from iOS 13 (even though it I think it might work with ios 14). All of our iPhones 11 and 12 plus our iPad Pro work updated to 14.3. It seems there must be a specific hardware list that won’t work with it. It would be nice to know which products and why. I feel that it’s at least as much of an Apple issue - especially because Savant isn’t updating this app anymore.

Do you want a product that never has any tech support, even for professionals? Do you want to be told after 5 years that your apps won’t work because of something Apple did and there’s nothing they can do? How about then being told you need to upgrade your entire system for thousands of dollars and then it will work just like new, because it is? Then boy is Savant for you. After a recent iOS update a few devices stopped connecting to our system. Our tech guys went back and forth with Savant who didn’t want to say it’s a problem with their app. Everything was fine, and now it’s not and they don’t want to take any responsibility or even try to fix the problem because they would rather make money on a new system. Yes this system is older, but does that mean I want to spend thousands to upgrade it? No. And if I do it’s definitely not going to be with a lazy company like Savant that doesn’t even try to find a solution and instead tries to pass the buck onto apple. Your app hasn’t been updated in two years, maybe take a stab at fixing it first before saying it’s not your fault? Terrible. Zero stars if possible.
Doesn’t work on iOS 14

My expensive savant system just became a brick. App doesn’t work on iPhone or iPad with iOS 14. Savant need update ASAP! Or give free upgrade of savant software so I don’t have to spend thousands to get my system to work Savant has abandoned their customers. Support has not got back to me. When I move I will be spending thousands or tens of thousands in a new system. It just won’t be with Savant. I warn anyone who is considering savant. Go with any of the big name automation companies instead. You will thank me when your system isn’t a boat anchor

IOS14 Update Issue
Savant is not compatible with IOS 14. A update is needed ASAP. My IPhone 8 with ios14 will not connect to the app and I cannot control my TV.

For not supporting this app in iOS 14. The integrator recommended switching to Savant Pro. The problem is Savant Pro won’t work with the system when not on a local network. To fix that the integrator wants thousands of dollars.

If you have a system that only works on iPhones then maybe you should keep your app updated to work on the new software! You have rendered my system inoperable because you can’t seem to update this app! Bad business model.

I’ve had a savant system for 8 years now and I use this app most of the time to control it. Until today this app has worked okay but for some reason it stopped working on my iPhone. There is some sort of glitch with a new iPhone upgrade, which Savant knows about. I had to start using the pro app instead which I do not like. I would rate it a 1. This app I rated a 3, because it could be more better but works most of the tine at least. I hope Savant fixes the issue soon.
App stopped working on my phone

This app wasn’t great to begin with but at least it worked—until yesterday. It still works on my wife’s phone but after reinstalling the app on my phone it shows the system in the list but won’t load it. It still works on my old iPad so I guess I can live with it. Why can’t savant fix the problem?!

App doesn’t work when installed. Only works on some old iPad -which is the only way to control it. But if anybody else wants to connect, they can’t. One star.
