Connected to tv but just didn’t work. Needs more work

Can’t connect to anything, says it’s found TV . However, remote does nothing. Deleted it several times and reloaded but still nothing.

I tried to find some directions but couldn’t. I was able to find my tv and everything got set up however I can’t get my tv to ask permission for my phone to access it. The phone says it found the tv and it has the correct IP address. Not sure what to do there are no directions. They are both on the WiFi network and I can stream YouTube and such to the tv from my phone. Just this app won’t work.

Now my Samsung smart TV isn’t smart enough I guess even with updates on the TV and the updated app. Just doesn’t work anymore. Really awesome update, thanks.

It finds my tv, says it's connected, but none of the buttons work, i checked the IP address so I know it's connected to the right tv, but it just doesn't work, my tv is in the newest software version so it can't be a problem with that
