Absolutely doesn’t work. Detected my tv but doesn’t do anything. Also the ads are ridiculous!

Remote app fails to connect to my Samsung TV. Very disappointing.

This has not worked, not once. I’ve tried every recommendation I could find to get it working, to no avail.
Haha' :DD
I wrote them an email but if anyone has had this issue I get a message when I scan that says my TV has been detected and then when I try to use the remote it asks if they are on the same WiFi ?? Not working I tried to input my IP address for manual connection and still nothing

I connected both devices to the same WiFi and waited the amount of time said to connect. I tried reconnecting and everything but this remote wouldn’t work. Also the ads made it about impossible to use and there is no way I’m paying for a remote app. Absolutely terrible and is a huge waste of time

This app always has trouble connecting to my television even though both are on the same Wi-Fi network. I usually have to try five times and it finally works. You will spend most of your time trying to connect to your TV in frustration. Be warned. Update months later... Still the same situation. I have to go through the same song and dance with the app every single time I load it. I try to connect four times finally says it connects on the fifth time but it is not really connected so then I have to try again and finally get it to connect for real on the sixth time and then it finally works. It gets really old. Another update more months later: I have figured out that it takes five attempts to connect the remote to Wi-Fi before it will give you notification that it has been connected but then you have to let it connect at least three times or it won’t actually be connected. It’s literally two minutes of cumbersome annoyance before watching my program each night. Balderdash.
