Great VPN works well but

Luv2Travel too

The app is great VPN however when I downloaded it it said Free. After reading some reviews I logged into my account and it indeed is not free. I pay so much more money for Verizon compared to other cellphone companies that it should have been free. I didn’t get any email notification saying this Free service will now be a subscription. You can purchase Kaspersky VPN subscription that will cover 5 devices and only cost $29.99 (pre-tax) for one year vs. $47.88 (pre-tax) a year from Verizon.

Unreliable when you need it most (International Tvl)

I am on a work trip in Europe. International calling plans are outrageous and don’t meet the need so safe Wi-Fi while working at Hotel seemed like a win-win. It worked for 2- days, and then intermittently. Although it is possible the hotel Wi-Fi might have been in-out, I now have an error code when I try to click back on VPN that says: We’re sorry. You’re not a current Verizon user with eligibility for safe Wi-Fi. Does that mean it will not work on Wi-Fi in Europe...? I hope so because I’ve been a faithful VZN customer for no less than 20 years (on autopay no less)!! Customer service chat app was automated and kept wanting to fix my phone. APP was deleted and reinstalled; same error code. I will reconsider if it works back in states...maybe.

Keeps dropping the service

Every day I look at the upper right corner of my iPad and the Safe WiFi is not there. I check it and every time I have to reload it. It is absolutely worthless! Why does it continue to do this? I am a Verizon customer and am really discouraged.

NOT FREE OR USEFUL

Agree that this was pushed out like a virus - offered for "free" (probably with some buried fine print) then BOOM without warning $3.99 a month! If it worked more than half the time I might have kept it, but it was a nuisance that blocked WiFi access most of the time. No thanks and SHAME ON YOU for the deceptive marketing! NOT what I expected from a company like Verizon! Not to mention it took 2 hours to connect with a human being to figure out what was happening and cancel the service. If this is what Verizon has to do to compete, I may consider shifting to the competition.

Kills speed!

I tried this app because I thought it would be great when I travel, and it probably would be. However, I did a Speedtest and found that it reduced my download speed by a factor of 10. Also, one reviewer said that even though Verizon claims there is no charge, he started being charged $3. Even if this isn’t the case, the reduced speed is unacceptable.

Great app
