Can’t play it

F...FE Heros

Love the series and can’t wait for vol.8 but I try and try to play it but it keeps crashing on the beacon level....tried what tech support said and still nothing

Noice!

FSK Snipez

I’m a very huge fan of the animation and this game touches all bases for a fan. The music, characters, and art are all there. I have just barely started playing and haven’t encountered issues so I’m giving this a 4, but so far my experience has been great!

Bashing head

I’d like to start by saying that I feel this game has great potential, but that for the most part this game is just nearly unplayable if you want to retain your mental health. There are so many things about this game that each alone made me nearly rage quit right out. Firstly the game will near constantly eject you from the app. I’ve checked around and other people with slightly older phones have this problem. I updated my phone’s processor and this helped somewhat, but still on somedays the game just can’t be played. I know this is hardly the developers fault, I’m just trying to give a warning. If you have an older phone, there’s a real chance there’s not a thing you’re going to be able to do about this. Secondly the game has this AI setup where instead of putting you up against real people, it can place you against AI if it feels there’s no one online in your trophy range. Which is to say for the first six arena’s in a row you’re going to be placed against unbelievably easy AI, that you can’t lose against provided you actually try. It just serves to move you along at lightning speed to arena seven. Why? Because all the people who play regularly are there. Why? Because they were sent there nearly immediately as well. I’m sure there was a good reason this was set up in the first place, but at this point it is self fulfilling and something needs to be done. Either adjusting the AI or trophy gain in lower arena’s. Thirdly, once you’re in the higher arenas after having been sped there at light speed, you will be thrown back and forth between six and seven by too easy AI and way over leveled players who purposely lose games to be sent to lower to begin their climb once again. A level six at the bottom of the arena has no chance against a level ten regardless of skill or deck strength, and frankly, there should be more to matchmaking than just trophies. If I, a level six, am placed against other players who are four or more levels above more often than not, then something is clearly wrong with balancing. Speaking of balancing, the fourth major problem is card balancing. For the most part this game does fine. There’s a massive collection of cards that are for the most part somewhat well balanced, but the black sheep that stand out are a sight to behold. Flint Cole, Launcher Nora, and Emerald, to name a few, are unbelievably over powered and every person who plays this game knows it, after all, almost half the players in this game use nearly the same exact deck. If you want to throw together a quirky deck filled with your favorite RWBY characters, good luck. Flint, stuns all enemies in front of him, deals damage, and knock-back. During this time he can’t be damaged in any way, all for a slightly extended period, for three aura. Another character who stuns in a similar way is Marrow, who stuns enemies in an almost identical range, though slightly smaller. Marrow has a bit more health and can hit enemies twice, but can’t do knock-back, and can be damaged during this time. Marrow costs more and the only time you’ll ever see someone use him is on a hardcore Atlas deck, not because he’s good, but for the gimmick. No one in their right mind would use poor sweet Marrow when Flint exists. Launcher Nora stands at the very back of the arena and rains fury down upon enemy troops, and unless you have a card that can target anywhere in the arena lined up in your hand as well as the aura to pay for it while also holding your own against everything else the other player is playing, you don’t stand a chance at all. A lot of these issues aren’t difficult to fix. Even just upping these cards by one aura could be a relatively good bandaid for the problem. The most op, and also most spammed in higher arenas, combo, Launcher Nora followed by and Emerald, costs five aura. It’s a combo that’s omnipresent, everyone can scrounge together five aura, just wait a second, and then the enemy push is annihilated. Just upping them both by one would be seven. Something they’d genuinely have to wait for, making it a tougher spam combo under pressure. I don’t want to be only negative. I’ve read a lot of other people complaining about how essential the micro-transactions are, but honestly, I made it pretty far and I still haven’t. Though it does weird me out how they have a relatively large shop in game for character outfits, and the only way I could even having the currency to buy even a single thing I’d have to pay real money. None of the micro-transaction are necessary. But if you want any skins at all, then yes it’s necessary. Not that these kinds of micro-transactions are bad. Its a way to send the developers money for a free game and a cute cosmetic. It’s just odd to see such massive numbers of cookies someone would need to buy literally any outfits. The game’s core mechanics are fun and I really want to keep playing, but multiple times a day I’m struck with the urge to delete over things that should be so simple but have been warped. Weak AI, massive level gaps, and broken card combo’s that are abused by just about everybody, break the game’s diversity, all holding this game down. For now I’m going to try to keep the game because I find some of the quirkier cards really fun and I love RWBY, but if I did delete, it wouldn’t be the first game I deleted for these reasons. As I’ve said, a lot of the quirkier cards are fun, and it’s nice to make gimmicky decks I’m not writing this to feel justification for wanting to leave. There are so few RWBY games and I want this to do well, but it’s hard for me to continuously work up the energy to play this game anymore.

Absolute Disappointment

PureNinjagoFanGirl

I got really excited to play this game after finishing another RWBY Game, only to be disappointed not even hours after downloading this. After I finished just one game the game would cut out and I would be taken back to my home page. I reset my phone and even tried to redownload the game only to have the same results of only finishing one level and the the game cutting out. I must say I was really excited to get this one especially since I have heard good things about it and since I have finished up RWBY Crystal Match. Rooster Teeth, this must be the first time I’ve been let down by you guys

Amazing

Darksama612

It’s really good but after the latest updates it’s been logging me out and a few others I know I hope this is fixed other than that no problems so far

Levels and Balancing

K1ng-Crimson

There are two problems with this game, the cards are not balanced some rare cards are way better than a lot of the epics and some of the legendaries. The other problem is the levels when going against others, I’d rather not go against a level 12 when I’m a level 5. No matter how good you are if all of your troops gets one shot.

Match making

Random name not already taken

The arena match making is horrible as it matches new players against veteran level players making new users at a two fold disadvantage. You have less cards you can use and heroes also your level is lower so your turrets and base have less health. Making the game play completely frustrating to play. I do not recommend this game unless you just want to waste time.

RWBY is like Royale but the cult version

Danzig89

I was looking for something similar to clash but different. I came across RWBY and there’s a lot of similarities but uniqueness too. I love the mechanics of both. The one thing that made me fall in love with RWBY was learning about the show. The show made me love the game that much more and now I can’t get enough of both.

It’s fun to play

Shu42069

It’s actually one of the few good games I have found where you can succeed without spending cash I’m F2P and I have a team that I think works well and when I focus my win score percent or something similar of that name is averaging 80 percent. Overall fun and free I like it.
