Playing Ruzzle helps with paying attention to details. It sharpens the mind, reflex, and (finger) agility. I play this game when I’m stuck on an idea and need a release.

The “improvements” on this game leave a lot to be desired.

Having to PAY to participate in tournaments? Seriously? Screw that. I stopped doing tournaments entirely because even if you’re the winner, you’ll have lost coins at the end of the week. I get the distinct feeling that the main goal of the game has changed from a game of word knowledge into a way for the developers to make as much money as possible. The earlier version was a LOT more fun.

Developers ignore cheating

The new update further proves that the people at Ruzzle don’t care about their customers; they care about making more money. Their greed is endless! This used to be my favorite game and now it just causes frustration and irritation. I have been asking them for YEARS to do something about the cheating and they’ve done nothing! I’ve never played a game before where the developers and employees ask their customers to prove someone else is cheating. You have to send screenshots of all words and their words so they can determine if that person was cheating or not. Wouldn’t you think that they would have a way to do that without relying on another customer to help them with that? All they would have to do is add a 3rd party blocker to their app and voila! The cheating is taken out of the equation. Unfortunately, they refuse to do anything about it. They say “We do not tolerate cheating”, but they absolutely do because they do nothing about it. They have also added bots to the game. These are used to stay just ahead of you so you will use or buy coins to win the match. Welcome to the new Ruzzle where they protect the cheaters, screw over the people who play honestly and fairly and greed overrides integrity!!! Remember how much fun this game used to be? Not anymore...
