Fails to get reading

App rarely gets a reading, and shows ads even on the paid ‘pro’ version. Also, just after I registered (why do they need my personal info?!) I got hit with alerts from Apple that someone in China was trying to access my account. iPhone 7. iOS 11.2.

This paid app used to pester me to create an account whenever I used it, so I gave it a low rating an rarely used it. I’m glad it seems to have stopped doing that!

Great for free

Got it free when I searched through the App Store. I compared it against manually checking my pulse by hand and it works pretty well if you average out the results. Individual measurements weren't so great all the time, but it's cool to be able to use the my iPhone to measure my pulse.

Doesn't work with arrhythmias

If you have AFib, don't bother downloading. Seems it works okay if you have normal heart rates and can use it check how your heart beat changes after exersize.

Ads even after purchasing. Shows them after measuring heart rate. Avoid.

I really like this app and it works well for me but it took a little trial and error. Sit still, don't squeeze, and make sure you finger completely covers the light. It is great to save your stats and check your progress if you're trying to lower your heart rate.
