Runner's Log makes it easy to record the results of a running session in a matter of seconds. You can also use Runner's Log to review your running history, and plan new routes for future running sessions.

You can simply use GPS if using an iPhone or, when you return from a run, use Runner's Log to record your session: The date, route, and shoes used are all automatically filled in based on defaults. The time spent on your last run for the route is also presented as the default. Simply adjust the minutes or seconds and you are done! Your pace will be shown to you.

To plan a new route to try in your neighborhood, go to the routes tab and bring up the map, which centers on your current location. Simply tap points on the map in order to create your route. When done, the route distance is automatically computed. If you run this route frequently, you can set it as the default.

Runner's Log makes it a cinch to keep track of shoe mileage. Any unlogged mileage already on your shoes can be added to the total tracked. You can track each pair separately, and you can choose a pair of shoes to be the default for new running sessions. When a pair is ready to be retired, you can mark it as such.

You can view a calendar showing which days you ran recently. This makes it easy to decide if you are due for a run today, or should take a break. You can also view statistics and charts showing weekly, monthly, and yearly summaries of your distance, time and pace, as well as the accumulated mileage put on your shoes. You can focus on runs of a particular type by filtering by tags.

No more support

After iOS 12.1 update calendar and stats portion don’t update new data anymore. I emailed support twice no response whatsoever. The program seems abandoned. Quite frustrating. People beware.

Best running app ever!!
msbigs

Super easy to use... can track routes, distance, pace and time. One of the best features for me is mileage tracking for your running shoes. My PT first told me I needed to pay attention to worn down shoes to prevent injury. This app has been perfect for that as well as the other features. A true keeper!!!

Great App
Wazzuankertoad

Easy to use and great feedback in graphical form. Would be nice to add non-running activities and have them show on the calendar so cross-training days are seen.

Simple and easy

Just what I was looking for in a runner’s log. I like the capability to store common routes and the ability to record notes.

Wish I could make the week start on Monday
waller212

My only complaint about this simple app is that it starts the week on Sunday (for both the monthly calendar view and reporting weekly stats). As far as I can tell, there’s no way to change the start of the week to Monday, which is how most of the world operates and how I plan my running week. I emailed app support about this and have had zero response. Otherwise, this app does exactly what I want it to. It tracks weekly stats, gives a great visual of running days, and tracks miles on my running shoes.

Out of date!

Desperately needs an update for newer iOS versions. Doesn't work with iHealth app.

Please update

I like this app- I've been using it for 2 years but my phone is telling me that it may slow down my phone and the developer needs to update it.

Best run log
mudfoot04

This is the third run log app I have used over the past 6 years. It is by far the best of the three. Simple to use. You can save routes or calculate new ones. Great run log.

Indispensable

I was so excited to see an update to this app. I have years of running history saved here, it would have been a shame to lose it. This app has just the right set of features for tracking your runs and showing statistics. It's not bloated with insane bells & whistles to try to justify some subscription pay model. This is one of the truly indispensable apps for runners, highly recommended.

Simply perfect
llswrth

No bells and whistles getting in the way: no social media, no automatic playlists, no leaderboards. But also no layers of menus to slow you down, and no ads. It's quick and easy to log a run, just as easy to see your history via calendar view or graphs for miles per week/month/year. Need to know when to replace shoes, or want to include notes or tags for specific runs? You have those options if you want them.
