I can actually RUN!

This app is awesome! I love the simplicity and functionality of this app. It started me off at a pace that pushed me, but was doable. The increased run times each week are small enough to help me see success with each workout! Two weeks ago I never envisioned I could run for 3 minutes...here I am at week 3 and I did it!!! I gave this app a 4 star rating because most workouts have prompts that are not working (in weeks 1 & 2: I will update my review as I progress). Sometimes I run longer than planned because the prompt did not tell me to walk or vice versa. It’s not to big of a deal, but if you really are relying on those prompts and you think you have run or walked to long then this might be a pain, or Interruptive when your in the zone.

I did it!

This app taught me how to run. I first tried when I was getting married, and I completed the 5k but never did actually a race. Now 8 years later I came back to train for my first 5k. It it’s a great help for a non runner, couldn’t be happier. Gracias!

USED to love this app…

This was a great app when I first got it, and there were frequent updates. Unfortunately, the watch app ruins it. It just doest work when I use it with my Apple watch. The developer knows about this problem, but hadn't done anything to fix it. I've done everything they tell you to do to fix it, but it doesn't get any better. When you use the watch app (even with mirroring turned off) you don't get any notification telling you to walk or run. I've had this app for years, but now have to buy another app to do the same thing.

Life Changer

I’ve used this app since 2011. It helped me lose 30 lbs that year. I continue to use it when I get out of my exercising habits. The intervals are wonderful! Best $ you will ever spend if you are a beginner.

Long Time User, First Time Problem

I’ve used this app for several years and have been very happy with it, however recently a problem has developed that has me confused. It seems that this app tricks my phone into thinking the battery is dead. I’ll start my run with 86% battery, fire up my music, launch the app and get going. Not every time, but at least half the time, about 10-20 minutes in, my phone will just turn off. When I try to do a manual restart I get the charger and lightning bolt icon signaling that the battery needs to be charged. I’m now left with finishing my run without run/walk queues and music. When I get home, I plug my phone in to charge and it immediately powers up to show around 72% battery. I’m not sure if anyone else has had this issue but this is the only app that causes my phone to do this. Other than this issue, I have no complaints about this app and hope I’ll be able to continue using it.

Great App!

Love this app. Started using again because I haven't run in a while. Used with my Apple Watch Series 2. Didn't realize I still need to bring my phone along for the run. Hopefully there will be an update to use it a free standing app on the Apple Watch 2

Kills music

Doctor.J

Like the app. Stretch guide. Audio prompts when to run and walk BUT the prompts kill my streaming music. Amazon or Pandora. Maybe iOS problem idk.

The best 5k app out there!

I really enjoyed using this to get started as a beginner runner. The program kept things exciting and the interface is simple and intuitive enough that all I had to do was Start. If you're new to running, I would highly recommend it!! ?

Amazing!

Made a runner out of a lazy couch potato.

Really Good

The intervals are perfect and with the added iTunes syncing it makes it easier to see what's playing. It also helps to start playlists.
