Use it everywhere. No longer keep a tape measure in the glove compartment. Very easy to use. Quite accurate.

THANK YOU for bringing back the older version of this app. I have the AR version on this iPhone & the older version on my iPad. Essentially I look at it as having two different tools for to different jobs.
Add the original ruler back please

Sometimes I need to measure small objects accurately, this app used to work for that.

Unfortunately in my tests, it’s not really even close. There may be something I’m missing in how to work it, but just setting one point and turning the camera to the end point is giving away under, short results.

It could be that I’m holding my phone incorrectly when the app ‘surveys the world, but I’m getting wildly inaccurate results. As one person suggested, I made sure I didn’t have zoom set on my phone. I really like the app concept. The other issue I have is seeing the measurements. They are small, and they disappear when I touch ‘end’.
