Wow. The future of technology has arrived.

I literally just got this app half an hour ago and I rarely leave reviews but I had to leave one because this is by far the coolest app I have ever had the pleasure to have downloaded. All I was looking for was something I could use as a remote to the Netflix on my computer, I got so much more -- to be able to control everything on my computer so easily -- it's amazing! And all I had to do to set it up was go to their website (rowmote.com) and download the application on my computer, put in the passcode when prompted (on my phone and the computer), and select my computer under the list in the app setting on my phone. This app is honestly incredible to me; I can't believe how it's so high tech, yet also extremely easy to use.

Apple TV must be jail broken

Total waste of money. It may only be $5 but nothing pisses me off more than misleading BS. I would have had more fun watching my money burn to ash in front of me.

Flawless

Been using since release and will continue to use for a long time.

Fantastic - Simple & it works!

I had used Mobile Mouse previously, but it had gotten so bloated with features that it became unintuitive & impossible to use. What I most wanted was an iPhone app to emulate an Apple remote for apps other than iTunes (such as EyeTV). Thankfully, Rowmote Pro is that app! It runs great with EyeTV and shows/controls the large onscreen menus easily with 1 thumb. It runs many other apps (such as VLC) just as easily. Well worth the purchase price!

Good but...

The controls are all over the place. You try to hit the volume and you change the channels instead. It like 1/4-3/8" off from where you touch. That's huge! Frustrating. With that said it does work with the apps that I want to control but I'm having to keep adjusting volume or channels because I always hit too close to the other buttons.

$5 wasted

To say this app works over Bluetooth is not accurate. You still need to connect via a network to even use the Bluetooth. Misleading description, and if I knew how to ask for a refund on the App Store I would.

Solid updates. Reliable.

The developer seems in this for the long haul. That alone makes this a worthwhile decision to buy.

Misleading

Bought this app so I could control my Mac while streaming Netflix in a hotel room. Said it supported Bluetooth. Well, you have to tether your Mac via Bluetooth in order for the app to control your Mac. Don't understand why it can't be used via a Bluetooth connection without tethering. Waste of $5.

Amazing with Keynote

FilmBuff35

I’ve had trouble with remotes for Keynote doing everything I need... even the actual remote for keynote! But this does it all! And, unlike the keynote remote which demands wifi, this hooks up with bluetooth. The best is that it will pause and start quicklimes embedded in your presentation. Awesome!!
