MAKE STEALTH YOUR MISSION. ROVER'S FREE APP IS THE "KEY" TO ITS IGNITION.
Faster, stronger, better. Rover 2.0 will boldly go where no App-controlled tank has gone before. Discover strange new life forms at home or at work. Record their activities–and even communicate via two-way audio.

ROVER’S equipped:

• Wide-angle video camera
View, record and share your missions online, or capture digital photos. In Rover 2.0, you can control the angle of the video camera remotely. Its wide-angle lens captures more of its surroundings.

• Night vision and Stealth Mode
Rover 2.0 lets you see (and record) in the dark with no lights for stealthy operations. Also has built-in headlights that can be turned on and off from your control device.

• Communicate via 2-way audio
Listen to sound from Rover 2.0’s travels and transmit your own audio back through Rover 2.0’s built-in speaker. Roger, Rover!

• Boldly go up to 200 feet
Rover 2.0 can travel 200 feet in unobstructed places, or 100 feet around walls.

• Steer by G-Drive
Use your device’s accelerometer to make it like a steering wheel in your hand.

• Share
Share Rover 2.0’s photos and videos on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr, and email.

• Generates its own Wi-Fi wireless connection for your device
• Runs on 6 AA batteries (included)
• Exclusively from Brookstone
• This message with self-destruct. (Not really.)

My neighbor gave me this $150 toy we tested it out it said that you need WiFi connection I checked I was connected to the WiFi it said to connect to but the WiFi had no internet connection so I thought cellular data would work but noooo it didn’t I am really disappointed in this product so here is some advice DO NOT BUY AND DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

Ronzonian

Does not load properly tried it 10 times won’t connect to my WiFi

Useless!!!
Tatsumake

Never wasting my money on this crappy company again. Just like everyone else, I now have $100’s worth of paper weight.

1.0 Rover not supported
Angry App

Don’t bother to buy this, as Brookstone will soon disable your rover when they have the 3.0 Rover. Do not support companies that stop supporting their hardware products for which you paid good hard earned money.

Horrible item.
labibchi

I didn’t even connect my rover and it took me straight to photos and videos this stupid trash company won’t even refund

Brookstone cannot be trusted to update their apps
Miffed-886

$100 for a Brookstone tank which is now obsolete due to Brookstone’s abandonment of the app necessary to operate it. Thanks Brookstone. My grandchildren really appreciate knowing who not to purchase from in future. P.S. I stopped at their store recently and it was a shadow of its former self. Hardly anything even worth having at half the price. They will likely be gone soon.

Only works with Rover 2

Rover 1, app is no longer supported.

Brook stone will soon be bankrupt
appleadaykeepsthewindozeaway

The stores were great but now their new business model seems to be ‘Abandon loyal customers’. $100 for a remote toy that can no longer be used because they removed the app. The same thing will probably happen with this app assuming they’re around long enough to release a newer model tank.

No support for the orginal rover
MrBill-001

I own an original Brookstone rover, brookstone decided not to update software to work with the new iPhone OS. No support they’ll drop the new one just like they did the old one don’t purchase from Brookstone until they agree to fix a software for the original rover.

You must be kidding me.?

Brookstone Is soon to be on the trash heap of Business history. Businesses that treat their customers with such disdain do not deserve to have a place in the marketplace. You must be kidding me that you do not support an app for a product that is but a year or so old. Goodbye forever Brookstone.
