The concept is great but this was extremely difficult to use. It was so hard to properly have the correct length walls or to even add new walls or continue them at all. The functionality I thought I’d see in this app I just wasn’t getting it. I spent over an hour trying to make one layout and am just going to uninstall this.

Easy and Fun to Design With

Roomle is actually very easy to use and to design with. I designed my entire room organization in just a few hours. The only small thing is that there aren’t that many choices for some categories.

I like this app but it has a couple of thing that need adjusting. The first thing is that the height cannot be changed. I will type in a different height and then it won’t actually change anything. Very annoying. Second thing: what is up with the file duplication?? I made a plan and then it gave me something like 10 “backups” but the only one that is actually correct and recent is the one I was working on so the backups do nothing.

I have enjoyed using this app for the past 2 years, but there are some glitches. The latest update doesn’t wok properly in 3D mode. Specifically, none of the furniture completely loads and everything is white. Prior to the update, the 3D mode was working. Now I can’t “walk through” the designs, as everything is white or the furniture isn’t completely loaded and it only shows a giant box in the room! Please fix this!! I agree that it isn’t user friendly and it takes a bit to learn. Once you have spent some time learning how to create, it’s great. Also, I agree that the constant file back ups are annoying and useless. Overall, it’s a decent app. I mostly use it to adjust the layout of my home for future renovation ideas. I also use it to rearrange furniture in a room to see how it would look prior to actually moving it. My husband is thankful for that!!

Missing items.

There used to be a whole bunch of laundry stuff. About two months ago. It’s all gone now. It was there before the mock up car and bicycle were added. Oh and all mock up items still show up without color when in 3D and walk through view.

Buy Buy Buy....thats what they want you to do. This was my go to app for any designing I wanted to do. I used to use the app a lot in the past to help me with room designs, layout and visualization. It WAS a very good app to use to make floor plans to see what a place could look like. However now they charge you to do anything but simply view your plans. You can not modify any plans you already started so you are stuck with what you have unless you want to hand over your hard earned cash for a program that used to be free to use. What a huge disappointment that more and more free apps are now starting to charge you for what used to be available for free. Why not have a two apps? A free app with the basics like it was before you started charging and a paid app that includes more features and accessories that you pay for.

Good app that you can’t own

If you are like me and plan a room once every 3-4 years then this app is not for you. The problem is the licensing which is on a MONTHLY Subscription - there is no option for a one off purchase. Yes, I would buy for one month, then cancel, but what happens when I want to tweak design in 6 weeks after I have tried to fit all the IKEA furniture in and find they just don’t quite fit? And it is essentially impossible to complete your design with a paid version (can’t duplicate the design to try alternatives for example — pretty much an essential feature) There are many free or single fee alternatives, which is a bit of a shame as the UI is pretty good

Great app! Please add windows and doors

This app is amazing. Was able to build a rendering of my project in just 20min. Only downsides are the sw is missing features such as flooring options, windows and doors. I used the mirror object which can be customized in color, size and hight from ground to make windows and doors.
