As a longtime series fan, I was incredibly disappointed by this game. Only three scenarios, arbitrarily assigned officer statistics, and no depth (historically loyal officers will easily defect, etc.). For how much they're charging, I'd expect a lot more.

The game crashes every time I successfully start a fire on an enemy in battle. Come on KOEI. Fix this and I'll give a better rating. Also the buttons don't work well. Sometimes I have to touch a button 2 or 3 times to make it work!

3 stars is temporary, with increase if glitches fixed, reduction if not. I enjoyed this game on Nintendo as a kid. Why do I need to click the button 3-10 times to get it to work? Why is there both a cancel and a return button? You only need 1 back button. Why are my first 3 battles instant victories without use of the map? Why do my new victory territories not allow me to make any actions? Please fix these glitches or I will request a refund.

First I want to thank Koei for bringing this classic game to the masses via iOS. I played many versions starting with SNES. This is the simplest of the versions. While it is still fun it really needs at least some of the traditional complexity to feel satisfying. Things that are part of the series that I wish were added in a future update: 1. Multiplayer needed. Playing against the AI is not particularly challenging. Even allowing one other player to join makes a huge difference in the challenge. 2. Unit variety (archers, cavalry, etc) 3. Add fortress sieges after a successful field battle. 4. Choosing the order in which you complete province turns. Currently you have to complete province turns in sequence and it adds unnecessary complexity for larger empires. 5. Ability of captured generals to refuse recruitment. Option to imprison them. 6. Seasonal variations in market prices. 7. Generals with multiple skills rather than the basic stats. 8. More specific province improvements rather than the general development. 9. Reinforce battles from your own provinces. I think Koei should have a basic RTK (like this one) and an advanced one for players like myself who want the traditional RTK experience from the computer / console versions.

It worked fine on 9.0 until you updated it for 9.0. Go figure ! Hate to delete the game when I've been playing over a year. Please fix. This is a $15 dollar game plus upgrades. One would expect it to work after an upgrade. I expect you are working on a fix as we speak. I can't be the only one with an app that doesn't function. Thank you!

Great! Very fun to play! However... It is extremely overpriced. Also, there is a mistake in the officer profiles, Zhuge Jin is listed twice.
