My fiancée and I are moving from OR to AZ, thus we've a long drive in two separate vehicles... We'd thought about purchasing a set of walkie-talkies but found this app and thought we'd give it a try... It works, if you can deal with having your messages delivered anywhere from 20 minutes to several hours later... The whole idea of a walkie-talkie on a road trip is to tell someone you need gas, let's stop for food or I need to use the bathroom... Obviously this app needs some improvements and we wound up calling each other as the response time is much better.

I love this app. It's so concurrent and the groups are great. I use it for work and social things! However this new live feature while the all is closed is horrible. If I'm in the middle of work things, it crashes Teamspeak so it can play. Also it fights with Teamspeak quite a bit if you have both launched at the same time.

Voice quality makes this app stand out

Every week, Roger gets better for Voiceover users. The scrub gesture doesn't work to go back a screen, but it's not a huge deal. Roger has become my go-to app for chatting. Text feels so dead by comparison. Groups are great and I look forward to more to do with them in the future because I think having real, focused discussions is what makes Roger so much fun for me. The sound quality is so awesome and I hope that never changes. Roger has made me more sociable and talking has become so much fun. Connecting with and meeting people in such a vibrant manner as voice, but with sound quality so good that it feels like the person is in the same room, is amazing. Talking on a cell phone is horrible by comparison. Even FaceTime, as good as I think the audio is, still doesn't sound as crisp. It's clear Roger is focused on bringing people together, on community, and on the quality of voice conversations, and I'm so grateful to have been introduced to it. Also, there's no privacy issue with phone numbers, since all people need is your handle/screen name. I'd recommend this to everyone. Maybe, with the sound of human voices, connections will come alive and warm people's hearts in a way the impersonality of text just can't.

Roger'sclarity and ability to listen to messages effortlessly is amazing to witness. While I haven't had the app for long, my impression has been quite positive. I hope it improves even more in the future.

I adore this app. I spent a lot of time texting, but Roger is definitely my preferred method for communication! The messages are clear, it is straightforward and easy to use. It's much faster than texting, and it helps me keep in touch with people in a far more engaging and personal way than text on a screen. I Love the new in-app photo sharing feature! I have recommended Roger to countless people and, they are all converts almost immediately. It's the best! Try it!
