Not what I expected.

Spent a hour mapping out a trip last night. When back the next day and there was nothing. It was not that easy. I will wait for a better app from anyone.

Great application I've been using off and on since 2014. Improvements been made and it's better. Things I like are * being able to create a point to point trip * sharing trip with friends * finding places along the route that are interesting like parks, museums, attractions, eating establishments, hotels/motels, bed n breakfast, camping, wineries, etc * I can add pix, write reviews * map of my trip and itinerary * just a great little app for creating a trip with all the details Needs improvement * Still needs ability to change a review. I'm looking for that now. (This is fixed) * the map isn't always showing after I click on it for the trip. (Much better now) * would be nice to select the pix for trip I create a round trip and I think this app is not geared for a round trip. I went from home to Laramie Wyoming and back home using a little different route on way back. I will continue using app.

I love the Roadtrippers app and use it extensively, so I paid $29.99 to upgrade to the new Roadtrippers Plus, primarily for the advertised ability to download offline maps. What I got was 1) no ads which is nice, 2) new map styles that I don’t like, 3) live traffic which I have on other maps, 4) ability to ad more waypoints on a trip which is nice and 5) the ability to download up to 5 offline maps for a handful of cities and a bunch of National Parks — OK, but very limited value. I can’t, however, download my own trip map. Tech support said this is “on our radar”. I upgraded primarily to download offline maps. $29.99 per year is a lot of money for a 1 year subscription and I would not have purchased it if I had known what I was getting. VERY disappointed.

I love road trips and I wish I had discovered this app years ago! It is wonderful that I can document all of my trips and it has helped me to find excellent places along the way. Thank you road trippers! If you are ever hiring, I’m in :)

Making road trips even more fun!

Easy to use app and website. Put in where you’re going, load it to the map, and find places along to way to stop that you may have missed otherwise. I really like that you can put in your vehicle and it will tell you about how much you’ll be spending on gas.

Good idea but not well laid out

Great idea. Good functionality. But the app is not intuitive. It takes me a long time to figure out joe to do stuff.

This app guided me through a cross country road trip and basically did all of the planning for me, finding hotels and fun stuff along the way.

I recently moved 2,000+ miles and decided to drive to my new home on a 4-day road trip. I started in Michigan, and drove through 8 states, 5 of which I had never been before. This app made it so easy to find awesome stops to get out and stretch my legs. We travelled with a cat so we were able to search for stops that were outdoorsy that allowed us to let our feline friend to get some fresh air. Many of the stops we made were breathtakingly beautiful-I would not have been able to find these hidden gems without the app. 5 stars. Thank you road trippers!!

Confusing

I tried to use the online tutorial but it wasn’t informative, and the app is not very intuitive. Contacted Support but they weren’t much help, and brushed me off. How anyone was able to find this app useful is beyond me. I had high hopes for using this app but unfortunately find it pretty useless. Too bad.
