We have used this app for cross country trips to find interesting stops along the way. We have also used it for much shorter trips just to find interesting things closer to home that we never knew about.

This is the best app for traveling within the U.S. it’s easy to use and perfect for the road trips.

Amazing little app. Just started using it to plan a trip and so far I’m pretty excited about it. Really seems to simplify the trip planning process. I often come up with ideas for trips and know where I want to go in general but this app helps you assemble a “doable“ route (eg mileage/time) and answers the all important question of what to do along the way!

I’ve tried to use this app for multiple road trips, and each time I give up before I even get on the road, underwhelmed and frustrated. The concept is fantastic, but the execution seems to rely on either a poor algorithm or a poor data source. Either way, there are plenty of miscategorized items and things that, while they may technically fit the categories chosen, are so trivial that almost no person would be interested in them. The latter results in an overwhelming amount of results and it’s only a matter of time before most people get sick of wading through the flood of options presented. The map view works very poorly (difficult to switch between identified stops and just a unimpressive overall interface). Yes there’s a list view but what good is that on a road trip?? You want to see where along your route these things exist! Also the app developer(s) responded to someone on here saying you can filter stops in the list view by rating - not true!! You can SORT them by rating but not filter. Big difference. Being able to actually filter and have it apply to the map view would be a nice start. I get that some of the things I’ve mentioned are not easy challenges to overcome, but if you’re going to make an app dedicated to this purpose then you’ve accepted those challenges. Get reliable data and present it to your users in an easy to consume and parse format. I appreciate the concept and the effort, but again, I can never actually get myself to do anything but give up in exasperation each time I try to make use of it.

It’s really a terrific app but when I add a leg I decide against I want to be able to delete it and I can’t. Can you add that function? Please!

Just downloaded and opened this app and the route chosen for a trip from Tucson to Portland, OR is all freeway, it is the longest route and has the most traffic! Why would this be of interest to most folks? How do you modify it to show preferences?

I like most everything about this app except the poor readability in certain sections of the app, such as distances and reviews. Hard to read.
