I love river island, so this is a review about the app, not the company. I thought this app was designed great until today when I was shopping and saw great jeans for 45 and a cool shirt for 30, I get to the checkout and the prices are really 90 and 60. I don’t know why but the app was showing me half off everything when I either didn’t have access to that discount or they were not doing a half off discount anyways. If I hadn’t been paying close attention I could have lost out on a lot of money.

Bought a dress online I’d tried on in the store, but when it arrived, the fabric was not the same and was super unflattering. It turned out that the website listed 2 dresses (same color, same style) under the same heading which was extremely misleading. Also, the label in the store did not match the correct dress online. When I reached out to customer service, they were so unhelpful and did nothing to help the situation . They wouldn’t even waive the delivery fee for the correct dress, and I’d have to pay $10 for postage to return the dress and get the refund. Now I’m out $40 and don’t have the dress I wanted for my 21st birthday party. Never shopping at RI again.

Did not give me the converted dollar amount from pounds to American dollar.. even though it said it would before checkout . So I have no idea how much I was charged. I will update this review on that as well as shipping time, clothing quality and sizing when I receive the order.
Not worth your time

I wouldn’t think that in 2018 a company as well known as RI could produce an app that is this terrible. It’s simply not functional and is aesthetically disturbing. You can’t change the currency from £ and the process to add something to a wishlist takes three steps when it very well only needs one. I downloaded this app ten minutes ago and it’s already been deleted; will stick to other retailers like ASOS.
