Beautiful, demanding, serene

There's nothing quite like it. I think this was the greatest in the franchise, and I'm grateful to be able to enjoy it again without worrying about discs.

This game is really poorly designed. If I compare it with "Real Myst" game, In "Real Myst" game you have real 3-D walk through, In this game. it's just like a slideshow until you come to certain points. I got annoyed after the first five minutes playing

I really enjoyed playing Riven again. I was surprised that I recalled so little from my first experience with the game ages ago. It made the game fresh-feeling. Of course it would be great to have a full 3d experience but I understand that it will not happen due to the amount of work that would have to be redone. Thank you Cyan! Bring other Myst games to iPad!
As good as adventure gaming gets

Incredible visuals, mind-blowing puzzles, and an engaging story make this one of my all-time favorite games ever. I've reintroduced it to a new generation with the iPad version, and my nephew can't stop playing it. Hours of great memories solving puzzles and exploring a lush, detailed world. This will be in my iPad forever.
Great game, but no tech support

This version is almost as good visually as the original Mac version (but lacks some of the animations, like rippling water). As long as you don't need tech support, you're OK. I wanted to ask a question (can I continue a specific Riven game on both my iPads), and there is no way to get to a related forum or ask a question of the publisher. Links to Cyan or other websites go to other games or are just unrelated.

I enjoyed must but this one was confusing with the moving like what direction was i just facing i liked myst cuz the moving was 3d i think they just got lazy and went screw it lets make it a point and click again

This is hands down the greatest game ever made. The point and click slideshow style is what makes this game unique and photo-realistic.

realMyst was great, this pales in comparison. Save your money, Riven is a glorified slideshow.
