Getting worse with updates

xojean

This new update is killing me. As an employee for a company that works remotely, a mobile app is highly in need. My only concern before this update was that the app did not allow a mute feature to turn off notifications for only a short period of time and turn back on. Now, this new update has completely turned me off to the mobile app. There is no way to get back to the main menu from a message without quitting the whole app. Select/copy/paste feature is not working. And I am unable to reply to assigned tasks. This isn't great for employees who work on the go and may not have a laptop always in hand. Fix your app! PLEASE!

Ultimate fail of fails....

You can't have a title that says "Real-Time Team Productivity," but not have an iPad optimized version. Super fail. Not to rub it in, but Slack has an iOS 9 optimized version. Please update Glip so I can get them off slack. Cheers.

Notifications are broke, switched to Slack

ColterLovette

App doesn't notify recipient of messages, making it useless in a business environment. Update: was informed today by the support team about their odd notification setup: "Let me explain how both email and mobile push notifications work on Glip. When you’re offline (i.e., sign out of Glip or close Glip) or inactive for 15 minutes or more, you will receive a notification at each 60-second break in a conversation. We do this so that we don’t flood you with notifications for every single message in an active conversation. So, if you’re trying to test out notifications, make sure you’re signed out of Glip for at least a minute after your colleague sends you a message so that you’ll receive a notification." This basically means we can't use it in a business environment as we need on demand notifications for all 1-1 IM's. To bad.

We need iPad app

HMalekny

That's aweful that you don't have an application for ipad!!!!

Just add share control

Better than slack and yammer. Love the task and calendar features. Wish that it worked with the iPhone share functionality without having to copy and paste links. Also the web and pc versions are great but they need to pay attention to the mobile apps or they will go out of business

Love Glip - App Neads Work

I can't figure out how often the app refreshes & I can force a refresh/sync. Also, problems with managing tasks.

Very poor design

The "desktop" (web app) version of Glip is great. The ios version, not so much. First, there is no ipad version. Not great, but ok, you work with a small blown up app. Beyond that however is the real frustration. In the app you cannot attach any files, only photos. This makes business collaboration, at least for my clients, worthless. There also does not appear to be any way to completely administer teams from the app (can't delete members, teams). One workaround for the foregoing would be to access the desktop site, but unfortunately it appears the developers have blocked this on ios forcing you to use the mobile app. I would love to use Glip, particularly as it is included with my Ringcentral service, but unfortunately in its current form it is simply too limited.

Decent App

My only real complaint is that it doesn't allow 3rd party keyboards. Other than that, it's a messenger program. And that's what it does.

Needs an update

This is a great idea for an app, and though it's a great idea, it's better executed by Trello. The only reason I don't use this app anymore is that it does not update properly. I can't communicate effectively through this when the app doesn't reflect the changes to tasks that have been made by my team. If the developers cans fix that, it would be much better.
