I’ve been playing guitar for about 5 years now and I wish I knew about this app sooner. I’m currently a Junior in High School, and I’m the president of the school guitar club. I showed my teacher this app and now he uses it to teach the “newbies” how to play basic songs. I’ve learned plenty of songs myself with the use of this app. It’s easy, fun, and just a great tool for any level of guitar!

Best way I know to get chords for my favorite songs! Very user friendly. Has a button at the top left that shows all the chords in the song and how to play them. I’m using it mostly in ukulele mode right now. What a Fun way to learn my instrument! And Great for getting the timing down. That’s my biggest challenge. If you love playing guitar or ukulele, this app is for you!

Lots of fun playing songs I never thought I’d be able to play. Lots of options without being too complicated.
Very Cool but over the top for most tunes

The app is very powerful. Especially control of the Tempo w/o affecting pitch. However, the chords presented reflect the overall chord the entire band is playing. For MOST popular music, there is dissonance and atonal orchestration. So the chords change when the rhythm guitar doesn’t. And this format would be best served for the rhythm guitarist or singer songwriter.

This is the best teaching tool I have found. Being able to slow tempo down as I learn a new song reduces the frustration factor immensely.
